They probably will. My grandson's godfather is a roosters member, and their membership craps all over anything we offer.

Seems that way at the moment. Very sad.

Especially sad for the girls who are already fighting hard to get a seat at the rugby league table.

I’ve met Noddy, he was a bit shy but that’s ok. I thanked him for coaching the men’s side when he did. I think he appreciated the gesture.

I will publish the rooster prices (if they permit me) and go from there.

I’ve got paid memberships already, I’ve bought merch. I support our existing sponsors.

I subscribe to @Tucker’s approach of the constant pursuit of club excellence in all areas and we are a better shot at this if we raise issues.

That another NRL clubs membership team wants to converse and engage with non members while we won’t even talk to our own members is astonishing!

If we ignore calls and emails at work, they’d be hell to pay. Not just from senior management but other staff who are serious about delivering for our customers. If you have another attitude, go and work somewhere else.

No one wants to work with people who don’t put in or own up. That just makes everyone else’s job harder.

This reflects badly on our club as a supposedly professional organisation but unfortunately does not surprise me too much.If anything it reflects just how little support HBG (dollars) are prepared to put in to make us a success by having support staff where it is needed.

You raise an excellent point in the broad and that is when this stuff happens we should find out the reason for it.

I don’t know if it’s related to HBG and their notorious skinflint meanness -or whether or not it is simply a lack of care at WT or a combination. I figure that if it’s happening to me, the next person gets shafted as well…and so on.

If the reason for it is made known, then it can be fixed, or at least attempts can be made to fix it.

Anyway, el roosters still have to provide me with details!

Instead of general statements about how little or alternatively how much HBG puts in, give us facts and figures.

Membership is supposed to be the right channel for all member’s enquiries. Result: No response whatsoever to sponsorship query nrlw in 6 days and counting!

Roosters.

Contact membership when you’re not a member, no problem, kind human response within an hour and 4 minutes then they advise that they have sent your enquiry to the right section and a response is pending.

That’s not bashing …I’m just being truthful.

That’s the state of the club at the moment.

That’s where we are at.

Thats who we are.


If I want to help the club, I’ve got to speak out.

So long as it’s true and in good faith.

That said, since you've chimed in with figures...HBG granted $1.7 million last year and $1.5 million in 2023.
Appreciate the numbers, but it's context that matters.
Compared to Bulldogs $7.3 million and $6 million, HBG's support while present, is dwarfed.
So, when someone says "HBG isn't carrying the load", that's not a wild take, it's a comparison that paints the picture.

If you've got additional insight into what those numbers represent in operational terms like staffing, facilities, player pathways...I'm all ears.
Otherwise, it's not about defending a dollar figure in isolation, it's about examining its impact.

You asked for facts and figures, I gave them to you. I also gave more detailed figures in the other thread where you claimed I was being misleading by saying the majority of funding comes in from the Wests Tigers themselves.

I think it is about the dollar figure in isolation.
When you consider a club like Broncos’ $25.2m contribution to football operations gives them a decided advantage. They may be overstocked with Gatorade, I don’t know? But they’re winning out when it comes to recruiting the best administrators available.
It’s not surprising that the clubs playing spoon bowl, Tigers & Titans, have the lowest spend on their football operations.
Richo obviously recognises HBG’s shortcomings here and is desperately working to increase cash flow from corporates.

Wonder what the Dogs spent it on... but it certainly highlights the gap doesn't it. Whether it was better facilities, equipment, junior contracts, more coaches, better camps, better third party suppliers... it all stacks up in a major way.

Inextricably linked imo, so too corporate sponsorship.
Let’s take into consideration the cost of a head coach ?
If you want an elite coach they’re demanding upwards of $1m, but if you’re giving a newby his start you probably save more than half that?
Our previous CEO we got on the cheap.
