Pearce-Paul hit hard in a few tackles against the Warriors. I thought he played well and is strong in defence as well as looking to unload. Unfortunately, the Knights don't take advantage of his ability to promote the ball.

Stats wise he is well up there for most tackles made this season.

There was an accusation of favourites and Fifita didn't feel he was one of them. Everyone could see his talent but for some reason he didn't feature in Sheens long-term plans.
Not one of his better decisions.

I reckon AD has a number in his head that closely resembles the contract he was on when he was starting for us. He took less, much less whilst going through rehab and we’ve given him a chance to bounce back. I’d say he is back to his earlier self and has even improved on in toughness areas etc. as I said anything less than 400k is an insult to him given how much we are using him on the field.
What did we sign him on originally for, was it about $600k a season?

I thought he was on either 600 or 650 if you can believe the rumours.

I'm assuming Douhi is trying to negotiate a deal for himself with Richo and would have told Isaac, if you can get me a better deal elsewhere once iv spoken to the Tigers I'll give you your cut, incase things arnt sorted and he does end up leaving.

It’s funny how things work out. At the start of the season we all saw the centre position as a real glaring weakness. Six months latter it’s probably our strongest position, with May,Star,AD and Big Mac.

As for AD , unless we can find a reliable goal kicker who demands a starting role in the team, you have to re sign him and probably as a 13. Of course if they jag a elite 13 that could change everything but I would be worried if Api was our only kicker

Makasini kicks goals, just not enough.
But with time to practice I'm sure he would improve. The pressure to kick goals with all eyes watching him is not a problem, just needs more coaching 'n practice.

I've never been in any team where everyone is great mates... if their friendship comes from hanging out with other Islanders who share the same culture then so what?

This is a club that gets bashed in the media when a player goes to watch his mate play for another team , or who they are having dinner with … you think the media isn’t making a big deal over that issue in the world we currently live, if true ?

There are cliques though, just look at which players are always together. Galvin always with Tallyn, Doeuihi and Twal together often, May/Fainus/Pole etc. Not rocket science.

It may be the same at every other club, but it's there.

Non will be travelling to England at least this time. The internationals are local to the Oceania region.

That is a bonus but its still not ideal as the 8 week mandatory rest will hurt our prep. Hopefully the boys opt to return a little earlier than the full 8 weeks off

it will be another opportunity for Luai to step up and walk the walk.
We can talk about his leadership and win at all costs attitude, but our upcoming games against the Panthers and the Bullfogs are 2 where he needs to show his value and dominate.

AD fixes so many problems in a squad playing many positions and he is a very good player

Only 30 positions and Adam equals potentially 5 players I think his true value is around 550k if you had 3 versatile players like him you could potentially have a top 22 and 8 rookies in the top 30

And could go to market and pay extra to get players here

Bit high for mine. I think his price at an established club is 400k-450k I think we’d have to pay 450k-500k.
Hopefully loyalty works out as I agree with you his versatility is undeniable.
