Are we cursed?

Let’s start with the big picture. There are roughly 8.24 billion people on Earth. According to the club’s own estimates, around 400,000 of those identify as Wests Tigers fans. This includes casual supporters, legacy fans from the Balmain or Magpies days, and anyone unlucky enough to have inherited the allegiance through family.

That gives you odds of about 1 in 20,600. In other words, the statistical likelihood of being born into or choosing this club is less than 0.005%. You are more likely to be hit by lightning in your lifetime. You are more likely to have an identical twin. You are more likely to be named “Wayne”.

And yet, here we are.... literally feels healthier to bet the family home on black at star city

Seems that way at times…

We hire Benji without any experience as a head coach.

We recently hire a recruitment manager and it’s a guy that has never been a recruitment manager(Shannon Gallant). Just head a jr pathways experience, that he got at our club.

Our squad depth is sooo far away it’s not funny.do players like Twal,Seyfarth,Toa etc see regular first grade at top clubs?

I had alot of faith in Richo but these East Brisbane Tiger signings are not what we need and just reek of favouring his old club.

We are always rebuilding and no one ever seems capable like Gis Gould is to clean out dead wood and get us in the 8.

Watching what the Bulldogs have done makes me jealous….why can’t we ever get it right?

I swear you put the Australian team in our colors and they would self destruct….what is it with this club?

Maybe the problem is too much in breeding. Our old boys network has not proven successful, our recruitment is better but still fair at best and our coach is just not cutting it.
I’ve got another theory but I don’t think it would be well received by many on here so I’ll keep that to myself.

I blame the merger. We imported the losing culture from the magpies. Were too comfortable losing reminds me of the 80s/90s magpies. Denis Burgess loves the glory days we've got it.
I blame the fact that Balmain haven't contributed a brass razoo to the JV and we are so far behind financially because of it.
