Klemmer was a better option than Twal, let that sink in.How can anyone watch Twal play and think you know what this guy will make a decent starting prop.

That what I said, he’s not a good starting prop. How can anyone watch Twal play and think you know what this guy will make a decent starting prop.
Lock, Prop, edge back row and a utility lock/hooker at a minimum.I really think we are 3 middles away from a strong side.
Lock - Depending on Doueihi but honestly he probably the ideal 14. Latu can play 9 in stints if Api needs a rest.
So we need a lock. Tino out of a tree?
If Hunt was on the pace we would be sweet but need that big body impact forward. Toby Rudolf may the option as managed by Richos son plus adds a good team culture.
Backs are halves depth we are sweet. Doueihi & TayMay makes 27. Minus Sullivan is 26.
I think we need 3 players with a spare up the sleeve!
did you see the dragons game ? his defence was horrific he didn’t even attempt a tackle at one point and the opposition went straight through 5 mins into the game 😂Klemmer was a better option than Twal, let that sink in.
people on here don’t like logicUntil you realise you need to pay players their contracted amount.
If Klemmer paid 12 games this season, he was due for $800k next season. That just wasn't feasible in a salary-capped competition.
Could have been real handy for 11 games imoUntil you realise you need to pay players their contracted amount.

From all reports Klemmer wasn't on $800k here, nor would the clause have enacted this. Not sure why the forum continues to push this.people on here don’t like logic
they want Klemmer on $800k
That what I said, he’s not a good starting prop.
He can be used as a starting 13, but only if our spine are providing plenty of creativity which unfortunately is not happening.
Other than that he’s best used off the bench as he can come on and provide good work rate and strong defence when the others are getting tired.
Klemmer makes zero difference to our side. He’s a defensive prop like Twal. Twal was cheaper and a longer term player for us. Both are bench options in any good side.
it would’ve enacted another 2 yr contract of $800k and his top 30 spot went to sione which was deservedFrom all reports Klemmer wasn't on $800k here, nor would the clause have enacted this. Not sure why the forum continues to push this.

No, that’s where you need your spine to step up and provide the variety in attack. Is it Twal’s ball playing that impresses you to put him at 13?

That’s not happening at the moment.
1. I thought Izaac Tu'itupou out played Skelton. Retain for next week.Benji wanted to “get into the grind “ with the Panthers last night… how did that work for them 🤔… our boys had 20 minutes only in them playing this way .. why play a game style that suits the opponent ?
Also … any chance they can contest some attacking kicks every once in a while? Most other teams successfully disrupt attacking kicks and get repeat sets inside the opponent 20 .. we don’t even try… the only one all season that attempts this is Bula
That is close to the mark, but in addition to this we still have a massive issue in lack of creativity within our spine, an extremely poor kicking game and poor work ethic defensively.IMO, Twal is at best a benchie. Seyfarth is a reserve grader, Sukkar is not yet NRL standard, Bird is over the hill and useless, Douhie is not a lock.
We need 4 NRL STANDARD forwards.
Toa is too inconsistent
Skelton needs to improve his D.
WE need at least another NRL standard back.
Thats 5 NRL standard players to become a finals team.
The highest I'd seen his 2025 salary reported is 675k. There's never been a salary reported for his extension but it would make absolutely no sense that an aging forward would receive an increased contract value.it would’ve enacted another 2 yr contract of $800k and his top 30 spot went to sione which was deserved
Agree with this. KPP and Sam Fainu in the team replace Sukkar and Bird. Makasini is projected to be a starter next year. Bula comes in and Turuva takes over his wing spot. We don’t need a lot but we need quality in certain positions. Lock, Prop, utility, back row depth.IMO, Twal is at best a benchie. Seyfarth is a reserve grader, Sukkar is not yet NRL standard, Bird is over the hill and useless, Douhie is not a lock.
