OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

Imo they probably have a better chance at beating storm and Penrith with him because he is not that structured.
They just grind and grind but adlib they struggle with as they don’t know what is coming.
If too many errors though they could be blown away
Can’t see them beating either team whoever they trot out with though.
I think sam walker will have an impact on the structured teams if roosters make the finals
He keeps the defense on their toes as hes constantly switching sides from open to blind and back again...his fitness is a huge asset in this regard.
Ciraldos pulled him back, hes not digging into the line like he was when he was giving hospital passes...hes getting his outside guys more quick earlier ball.
Rarely isolated in đefense and wont use his shoulder...but when he is isolated we saw what Whyte can do.

Dogs painting themselves into a corner somewhat...hope it continues to fail mainly for Pus

Dumb career move from Galvin.
I wonder if he’s now starting to realise the grass is not always greener on the other side.
What’s done is done with both he and Da Silva and they are both now on over inflated contracts that they never truly earned, so we have dodged bullets with both of them.
But it’s very frustrating that we build these young kids from the ground up and as soon as they get to a decent level they think they are too good for us.
Hopefully the struggles these 2 are now starting to go through will be a lesson for our next wave of young talent to be aware of and hopefully realise that showing loyalty to the club that made you or give you an opportunity is the best development plan for young emerging players.
I think running out for the finals in a few weeks will vindicate his move ( in his eyes). And let’s face it V, he’s stepped up into a new world, and he’s still a little
starstruck. Once everything settles in for him we’ll truly see if he’s got it or not.

Yeah but those teams can well executed forwards running at him all day, that would nullify his attack.

I think they are scared to drop him. Only thing worse than dropping him because they are losing is if they drop him and win. Imagine if Sexton came back and won how that would go down.....

Although it's a pretty good time to drop him given they play storm and Penrith games that were likely losses ..... The same as soft introduction they gave hime against shit teams .....
I think worse they drop him and lose, because they disrupted what was working.

They are trying to turn a player who’s best asset is running freely wide of the ruck, into a robotic 7.
It never ceases to amaze me why clubs want to turn players into roles that do not suit their strengths.

But it is greener. He will be playing in September while we are sipping pina coldas with our feet up for what....the 15th year in a row?
Depends on his perception. What has he contributed to the Bulldogs run to the finals? He’s just lucky they had a massive head start before he got there, because the team’s record with him playing in the side doesn’t shout finals contention.

Even before he left us, the writing was on the wall that he waa going to struggle in the halves … the Tigers were gunna pay him $1mil a year for 5 years …lol … what a disaster that would have been …

I still question how true this was... Richo never presented a contract... He could have put any number out there and no one could confirm or deny...

Ive also heard bulldogs are paying him over $1.1 per year when you factor in 3rd party deals - so if we did really offer that much, atleast we weren't the only ones..

If that’s the case, I’d want to see them go on a tear with Sexton being the conductor. Only to lose in the GF. That way, Dogs fans will be ropable that he’s leaving. If they win the comp, then there will be some sense of achievement, so they might be more likely to be less filthy about losing him.

Just because you think something seems dumb … doesn’t mean it’s not true with this club … every small part of that saga has been reported at nauseum ..,, id believe it
