plenty of flashes of brilliance , they just don't gel as a team for long periodsit's a case of too many cooks in the kitchen. one at fullback, one at 6 and leverage the other for a swap. Sami, Fifita and Khan-Pereira are all very good footballers in their own right, even if the last two need a bit of a tune up defensively.

It's Taateo but he's not in the team list. I initially thought it was Mapapalangi but it's Taateo.in mays vlog they are hyping one of the players for debuting this week but i can’t figure out who it is 😂
yea that’s why it confused me? plans must’ve changedIt's Taateo but he's not in the team list. I initially thought it was Mapapalangi but it's Taateo.
Brandon Smith just said on the Bye Round that he heard whispers of Tino going to Melbourne
Apparently they’re letting go of NAS who is on 900k and a few others…
This is the greed they talk about in the bible
In saying that Krystian Mapapalangi is now on the club website in the player profiles (wearing a WT jersey too).yea that’s why it confused me? plans must’ve changed
Voss last week ,think it was about Tyrell - he looks like a shopping trolly rolling down hill out of control ,crashing into every thing , lolApart of course the joy of watching a great kid get his debut, I look forward to the glee that Vossy and shouty Dan will have when they roll "Mapapalangi" off their tongues !
How do you "leverage the other for a swap" ? If they have a contract is impossible if the person doesn't want to go.it's a case of too many cooks in the kitchen. one at fullback, one at 6 and leverage the other for a swap. Upon reading your post I went to check the team page and have now been reminded that Brandon Tumeth and Justin Matamua are still contracted to us. Wow I almost totally forgot they were in the squad given they aren’t even making the cup side at this point 😅.In saying that Krystian Mapapalangi is now on the club website in the player profiles (wearing a WT jersey too).
I'm pretty sure previously he was only profiled under the NSW Cup players in a Magpies jersey. Read into that what you will 😉
Taateo is not named in the 22 thus they would need to get NRL dispensation for him to be selected. This is normally due to injury in a key position which is not present with other options availableIt's Taateo but he's not in the team list. I initially thought it was Mapapalangi but it's Taateo.
Do we really care anymore about Brooks and how his form is....he has shown the cliub made the right decision to let him go
Thankfully.😁😁The club and in particular Benji wanted to keep him, albeit on a more reasonable contract reflecting his ability. It was his choice to take his BBQ and exit.
Yup 100% @teddy23Given this is a signings thread… I thought I would give massive wraps on what the signing of Sunia Turuva has done for us as a club both on-field and off-field.
A lot of people give the credit to Luai for helping build the culture (deservingly so), however it seems like Tito has such a strong presence in the squad and is a real leader with his energy and talk. It’s quite obvious he’s like the glue of the team.
Anyone around the club who I speak to always harp on about Turuva and how he brings such an energy around the joint, to where players enjoy coming to training and want to play alongside him. He’s also massive on building a team first mindset etc. People talk about the co-captains in Api and Jarome but please don’t let the impact of Turuva’s leadership go over our heads.
That’s all just off field stuff - on the field he has been exceptional. Defends well, safe under the high ball, takes tough carries and finishes well. When we need him to cover for fullback he does a job too. He’s been exceptional value wise.
I hope we keep him until he retires and then offer him a position to keep him around the club post retirement. He seems a winner.

JrtI don't think it's too much of a mess really. they need to make a decision on who their fullback and 5/8 is and move one of Brimson, Campbell and Kini on, and then find a steady hand at 7 that can steer the ship until Zane Harrison is ready.
they've got some excellent middle and edge forwards and speed and skill to burn in the backline. if they lose Tino and/or Fifita it's money they can funnel into the spine, which is a good thing.
unfortunately the way their cap's currently structured has coincided with Des losing his touch. if they manage to get Hannay they'll turn it around pretty quickly.
their not a team that needs a rebuild, just a coach who understands them. Have punched well below on what looks like good on paper for years, with some top-class talent across the boardJrt
They really have some great talent coming through there pathways and their current squad is not that bad but poor coaching and Financial balancing has cost them dearly.
