Think we offered 550,,,and hed been getting much more.Went to Manly for $750-...and tbh I was ok seeing him get a fresh start. He was stale hereThe club and in particular Benji wanted to keep him, albeit on a more reasonable contract reflecting his ability. It was his choice to take his BBQ and exit.
Is this the Tigers or Titans forum?? 🤨🤔🤣it's a case of too many cooks in the kitchen. one at fullback, one at 6 and leverage the other for a swap. Sami, Fifita and Khan-Pereira are all very good footballers in their own right, even if the last two need a bit of a tune up defensively.
No idea why after all these years no coach has told Brooks to slow his gameplay down. He literally gets the ball at full pace and tries to do everything at full pace. He needs to watch Thurston or even Katoa how to mix up your speed to put the defender in two minds. Brooks grabs the ball and literally goes full pelt which only works sometimes.Think we offered 550,,,and hed been getting much more.Went to Manly for $750-...and tbh I was ok seeing him get a fresh start. He was stale here
Manly supporters absolutely loathe him...good defender but cant create anything, which is his job
Arguably the most overpaid NRL player over the past decade

Well, Jojo Fifita's sister Ruby just joined Weststigers NRLW team - so there's that - someone mentioned leverage in an earlier post.dexlesias fan club

will that help replacing Benji for Des, lol . Think Jojo may be somehow connected to our men's 1st grade somehow via a friendship ,family in the area .Well, Jojo Fifita's sister Ruby just joined Weststigers NRLW team - so there's that - someone mentioned leverage in an earlier post.
Wouldn’t it be nice if the Titans offered up a swap deal Jojo for Star ?will that help replacing Benji for Des, lol . Think Jojo may be somehow connected to our men's 1st grade somehow via a friendship ,family in the area .
are you from a long line of sugar cane FarmersWouldn’t it be nice if the Titans offered up a swap deal Jojo for Star ?
If Richo could move them both on only one year after signing them, as long as we're not paying too much, that would be remarkable.Zero tackle reporting hes a chance of going to Super League with Bird.

He has been exceptional this year, apart from one bad game toward the start of the season he has been fantastic.Given this is a signings thread… I thought I would give massive wraps on what the signing of Sunia Turuva has done for us as a club both on-field and off-field.
A lot of people give the credit to Luai for helping build the culture (deservingly so), however it seems like Tito has such a strong presence in the squad and is a real leader with his energy and talk. It’s quite obvious he’s like the glue of the team.
Anyone around the club who I speak to always harp on about Turuva and how he brings such an energy around the joint, to where players enjoy coming to training and want to play alongside him. He’s also massive on building a team first mindset etc. People talk about the co-captains in Api and Jarome but please don’t let the impact of Turuva’s leadership go over our heads.
That’s all just off field stuff - on the field he has been exceptional. Defends well, safe under the high ball, takes tough carries and finishes well. When we need him to cover for fullback he does a job too. He’s been exceptional value wise.
I hope we keep him until he retires and then offer him a position to keep him around the club post retirement. He seems a winner.
Wernt we paying him something like 1.2 million a season, the year he left or the one before. Glad things are done so differently now. They are overpaying but no where near the level of stupidity we had done for about a decade. $550-600 is about his ceiling, but Benji was very vocal at the time to wanting to keep him im sure most are glad he declined.
move them on , club/we pick up 1/2 the tab . Sullivan and Bateman still , its not good business , Richo said when he moved in , its normal to have 2 on your books playing for another club . We have rolled over in mostly all our dealings flushing the club . To average top 6If Richo could move them both on only one year after signing them, as long as we're not paying too much, that would be remarkable.

Also, crucially and perhaps somewhat overlooked, Turuva and also Skelton are pretty good at icing their chances. Turuva last weekend had no right to score on the left against Manly, and it was the game breaker, stepping back inside 3 defenders.Given this is a signings thread… I thought I would give massive wraps on what the signing of Sunia Turuva has done for us as a club both on-field and off-field.

Don’t think it’s him, but I think he’d be a great signing.Trey Mooney
