I think we're still gonna run into the same problem we've had for years in that neither Luai or Fainu are 7s, they're both 6s.
Luai's been so much better playing as a true 6 and his last few weeks have been good. But we're gonna suffer without a real organising 7.
I can't help but feel someone like Fogarty to just guide us around the park would've been a good deal. It's a shame but to reach that next level, Fainu might either be the odd man out or have to become a full-time 13 or 14. He's very good on the front foot and has some silky touches to go with a strong running game, but I don't think he projects to be that dominant shot-caller who steers us around the pitch.
Only if we get some help, we need a quality halves coach to bring him through. He stuffed up twice in two weeks, which cost us a wins. Last week after scoring two tries in a row, he drops an easy pass leading to a cows try which started the 3 tries. Then similar this week, pushes a pass to Bula, who knocks on, faiders score. Trying to hard sometimes.Latu is 20..and played less than 10 games at 7….im not gunna promise he is definitely going to succeed at the position….but it’s way too early now to be saying he will never make it ..

Gee anyone could win this comp this season, most teams are average at best. Faiders were very beatable today at their home ground if it wasn’t for their pelican refs help! A team could definitely win it from outside the top 4.
AD's long kicking game could have very easily turned the result of this game around. A big loss.I really like what I saw with the Luai + AD pairing.

Manly got a bargain with Fogarty at around $700k a year, great deal.I think we're still gonna run into the same problem we've had for years in that neither Luai or Fainu are 7s, they're both 6s.

i think if they had their time back they would’ve just kept the fainu brothersManly got a bargain with Fogarty at around $700k a year, great deal.
Loosely, he made 2 mistakes at crucial times that costs us! He’s young as just pushed it, experienced head would have held his head. Murray is a waist of a spot, but we sent a lot of depth away this season, and that’s on bunji!Hang on… you saying he cost us the 2 wins ?
Did you watch Pole ? What about our insipid bench that adds zero impact ?

But fair is fair, we gave them Brooksy and even threw a BBQ in with the deal. 🤣i think if they had their time back they would’ve just kept the fainu brothers
It can, and it did, no need to get all woke. U can through a shit pass and drop an easy ball and it did cost us, watch the games again and watch the relative errors. I don’t blaMe him, he’s young and it cost us twice in two weeks, I am not bringing up all his errors in a game, just the important ones. One mistake each game doesn’t cost you the game ,,,, like I said ,,,Pole was the same …. Last week I would say Naden was more to blame
Considering it’s the going rate for marque halves…Yes.Anyone think Luai is still worth 1.2 million? 🤡
yep , he is the over priced we needed to help get the ball rollingAnyone think Luai is still worth 1.2 million? 🤡
Has he been marque quality? To justify the price? how does he stats and results compared to everyone else who is paid less then him?Considering it’s the going rate for marque halves…Yes.
idk if you’ve watched the last 3 games but we don’t score any points without him. and without him we wouldn’t of landed the mays, turuva, Skelton etcHas he been marque quality? To justify the price? how does he stats and results compared to everyone else who is paid less then him?
He is not marquee quality imo, but necessary for a struggling club that had no leadership or culture. Luai brings that and attracted others good players to join WT. Long term he will be worth what we are paying him. Api is a great hooker but not a leader. Very quite man. Luai is the captain on and off the field.Has he been marque quality? Obviously he isn’tAnyone think Luai is still worth 1.2 million? 🤡
