Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Seyfarth in my opinion should be in the 17. Name me another forward we have that you wouldn't want to run at?
May no.
Pole no.
Sam no.
Kpp no.
Sione no.
Twal no.
Seyfarth is the only one that shows mongrel, gets it wrong granted but I'm not running at him
The two I wouldn't want to run at are Latu and Skelton..... Says alot about our forwards...close third is Samuela, sione can also put a hit on if he is in the right mood....otherwise the rest wouldn't bother me.....seyfarth included.

we really do have some dense fans. When Seyfarth isn’t giving away penalties or getting himself suspended for being an ill disciplined moron, he’s losing the contact in both attack and defense.

Try actually watching one of our games

Geez, seems this forum is set up for a select few and everyone else can't voice their opinion.
Yeah he does balls things up but atleast he has a go.
I believe JL was sin binned just as much and gave away more penalties but since I dont watch any games I am sure you will put up the stats

Seyfarth would quite easily make the bench for all but 3 or 4 of the named NRL clubs for this upcoming weekend.
No NRL team has the luxury of having all 4 bench players being star players who are capable of coming on the field and making a match winning impact.
Most teams have one or two toilers who come off the bench with the intention of getting the job done while the other higher paid starting players are having a rest.

Seyfarth should be made the captain of the club. Everyone looks to him for leadership when the chips are down. Still don't understand why Kai Pearce Paul is coming here when he is going to be playing reserve grade as Seyfarth has the right second rower spot locked up? Make it make sense.

And yes he could play hooker if needed. Harry Grant or Blayke Brailey will get Dally M Hooker of the year in 2025, but that could easily be Seyfarth next year if he decided to make the switch. But he is a team first guy so will humbly take second rower of the year.

Twal is more likely to give you beard rash than busted ribs.
That is true, but Terrell May doesn’t tackle hard or run the ball hard either.
Every team needs a certain element of workers and we have our 3 in Terrell May, Alex Twal and Alex Seyfarth.
The other forwards are the ones who should ideally be providing the impact and highlight reel plays.

Terrell has been running harder of late. Think he understands why he didn't make NSW (even though it's still BS) and wants to develop his game.

Terrell runs hard and makes impact when he wants to.

He doesn’t average as many metres per hit up as some because when he ball plays he goes a bit sideways. That’s game plan because he never did this at the Roosters.

He still looks like he’s running the ball at half pace to me.
In saying that his half paced carriies are still very effective until he gets fatigued and they start becoming ineffective.
If we do not recognise this and start limiting both Terrell and Api tjo 60 mins per game maximum, we will not make the top 8 again next season.

He played far less minutes at the Roisters, so he didn’t have to pace himself like he does with us to try and get through 80mins.
It’s stupidity and can be easily resolved by reducing his minutes played each week.

Yep he was starting off the bench and playing 60-65 minutes. It's his sweet spot. Even Madge has recognised that this is how you get the best out of Payne Haas, even though he can also play the full 80 when required.
