In our favour is this is really his one and only big pay day he'll get. Rutter he takes less and tries to win a comp, or he goes to the highest bidder.
I'd offer both him and Terrell 850k. Would form a great starting combo but I just can't see Richo spending so much on forwards

KK cant really be available for 2026 , as you have told us like 50 times that there is no possibility of them acquiring a good middle this offseason…

Yeah, I think we all remember Richo's comments at the time on the worth of AFB, so I doubt he would be all that keen on 2x $850k.

I actually think the difference between 2025 vs 2024 was our back line.

A lot of blame goes on our 7's, and yes they were not able to organise an attack at all.
But the number of times our Center/Wing was a total turnstyle, would kill us in games. Absolutely kill us.

No strong backline, we give away soft tries to centers/wings. I think Madge identified this and hence hired Roberts+BJ, and was really aiming at Latrell. ...

It was something Cooper Cronk said playing for Easts, "the holes in the line we are spotting are getting smaller and smaller, but our centers keep finding a way through".

the 2026 backline will be better then the 2025 backline. 2025 > 2024. I would like a real 7, but even just someone who can play the part will do if our forwards perform this year and our backline keeps getting stronger.

The AFB comments were kinda strange. I put them down to "Richo is brand new here". From memory they were "the club has decided to develop local front row talent".

It was a mistake not to go for AFB, doubt we would have landed him. Yet if we did we would have missed one spoon and likely made the 8 this year.

The dogs will have invested:

Leo - 800
Kikua - 800
Keano - 900

That's alot of money in the forwards. Then again Broncos have even more invested.
