NAh that’s not true bro . He loves the club from what I can tell . I wasn’t trying to start a pile on! I just think he’s super negative naturally…. I’m sure he’s got his reasons !
Sure I get frustrated with the negativity , as it’s opposite to the way I try and process things , but It’s completely not fair to devalue his love or anyone else’s love for this club . ( except people who openly support other clubs where they live , and come in here and stir shit with people who don’t realise) .
The dudes a contrarian. And it’s not a criticism it’s a fact. My missus is a contrarian as well. We literally talk about it . If the consensus is we all want Thai for dinner , she will say she wants Italian . And she honestly doesn’t know why , except from a “F U , i won’t do what you tell me “ point of view . Which is pretty mental . Then openly has to process that initial thought . My son has it as well , as it’s a form of neurodivergence, I can’t honestly remember which acronym it is . I want to say Oppositional Defiance , but I think that’s the one school teachers made up … and it is highly debatable .
But yea it’s a thing . Almost like a tick .. I could be wrong and he is a troll . But I don’t think so .

What did I say in this instance to be a contrarian? Or even a troll? Plenty agree with me about Benji. It’s far from a minority opinion.

Me …no … but if what I was told yesterday is true that he got in another players ear and shit canned the club and coach and that was a factor in his departure … I dont particular want him in Bula’s face everyday either whilst he is trying to negotiate an extension

Without a doubt Galvin is in Will Craig & Heath Mason's ears, and possibly still the Laulilii brothers through the connection they built in Harold Matts.

However I highly doubt Bula & Galvin have a close friendship, just Bula saying the right PR things to the media. He seems to be a man of very strong faith so him attending the Bulldogs game through the season was probably just out of the goodness of his heart.

They are not running partners or gym buddies - they independently (along with Jason Saab and others) have engaged Fabri to enhance their sprint techniques wihich he does in group sessions.

To suggest goofy teenage Galvin could have some sort of Machiavellian influence over Bula's contract decisison is a very long bow.

Galvin may have been influential with the kids who looked up to him - but Jahream is not a kid and their relationship does not concern me at all.

Your initial query was "should we be worried" - and my opinion is no.

So, a 20 yo wet behind the ears kid is some kind of modern day pied piper of rugby league players, what a crock.

Anyone who's stupid enough to take advice from him would probably be too dumb to fit into our team and gel.
 
There have been a few Bula articles over the last week and in one of them I saw a comment from him that he will see how he goes this season in making up his mind. Im hoping I misread it and its not his manager talking to him extending out the decision time so it helps string out the drama and keep WT on tenterhooks rather than make the early decision that WT want and we can move on from it. Please not another season dragged out by contract dramas, media and managers (Moses).

This is the most logical post of the last 2 pages I'm only listening to any comments in the media that relate to any of Richo's remarks, recently that sounded favourable of him staying so be patient.

My main issue now is with a quick decision either way … keep him for next year … if he is not staying longer than get amongst it sooner rather than later for 2027
