The silence speaks volumes about what's going on - Richo will resign. It's just being negotiated. I'm 95% sure of that.

One thing that wasn't mentioned - Barry had to reapply for the Chair job after 6 months if you remember? He was only interim. So HBG are saying within 6 months he went from being the best man for the job to being non-communicative and not fit to be the Chair of the WT?

This has to do with the independents outnumbering the HBG vote - they must have passed a few resolutions around the jersey and other minor things, which they were entitled to do with their 4/7 split, and HBG come out with some nonsense about communication because they didn't like it.

Personally I hate the new jerseys -the white one in particular, but not enough to dismantle a functioning board.

The Club has been advised of a change in our Board structure by the Holman Barnes Group. As you can appreciate, the details of this change are still being worked through and will be finalised following the Club’s scheduled Board Meeting in December.
We completely understand your concerns and respect the position you’ve taken. At the same time, we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind cancellations, as per our membership terms and conditions.
What we can do in good faith - is opt you out of next seasons renewal to ensure no further renewals take place without you actioning this. Your feedback has also been collated and reported up to management as part of a wider review.

Clubs evolve - jerseys change, home grounds can be anywhere, players, coaches they come and go ... and all through that - it’s yay team 👍

I replied to the Balmain portion of your “rant” . I even elaborated . The only people who keep mentioning Balmain are you and your cronies .
Every single time I’ve said I won’t support wests magpies .
For me it’s like this ;
When the Cleveland browns left for Baltimore to become the ravens , no supporters followed them .
When they started up a new team called the Cleveland browns in 1999, they had a ready made fanbase ready to go. I would be one of those fans. I’m not following the club to wests magpies , especially one that’s interest only lies in Ashfield . Which is why Wests Cambo have long held issues . So not only does this rebrand not serve the legacy of which my family is now 7 generations deep re. The tigers , but it doesn’t even serve the adopted locale in Campbelltown . It in fact would be an obvious return to a club that if the nswrl had thier way would have died in 1980.
I love the wests tigers . I see the wests as Campbelltown not Asfield . And I see the tigers as a nod to the past , which doesn’t exist anymore re. Balmain , and the team my kids support . My nephews support . The team everyone under 30 has grown up loving . FFS .

The NRL can only use the licence as leverage - they can't force HBG to do anything. I think the licence is the biggest stick to beat them with because without that, Wests Tigers Pty Ltd is worth $0.

Believe it or not, the NRL holds all the cards...depends if they want to use them.

Given the NRL would love to reduce the Sydney teams, all they'll need is a reason.

Giving the license to the Brisbane Tigers, you would imagine, would be desirable for the NRL.

That’s the most self serving bullshit I’ve read on here in a while . We want wests tigers to remain as wests tigers . That brand to remain . Any other is a new identity entirely .
