Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

He made sure the colours of the bibs was consistent every race.
Some people seem to think that he's a complete dribbler so I guess he would be fairly familiar with bibs.

HBG were pretty quick lining up Mestrov, the time line seems a touch suspicious.

Sounds like maybe the independent board was doomed from day dot. I’ll give them credit, seems like they were organised.

Yeah I mean... it's such a random comment. Who said he was good? Where is this report card? How does one do well at Greyhound Racing NSW in a way that translates or is relevant in RL. By all reports Mestrov was a train wreck at Manly professionally and personally so I am just baffled.
In what way has he been a train wreck at Manly? Not trying to be a smart ass, genuine question as I've only heard good things about his time at Manly. Not that I've really paid any attention to the going ons there.
I Know less than nothing about governance of Greyhound racing.

Richo was the great hope to finally give up some leadership and direction. He was the experience we needed. I was onto the crocodile roll like many. Richo could make our bleak moments seem like success and that improvement was just around the corner. The fact that HBG (A consistent failure) has ruined this progress is so heartbreaking as a fan. We finally had some hope only to throw it away for nothing. Tragic!

havent read anything else
richo is gone, some shady shit that happens at all clubs has been used to not pay him out his contract

burn the club [This word has been automatically removed] them all
any news on bula & luai then mate ? ig luai sticks with his clauses but bula is a big concern now

What do you mean by he was good at Greyhound Racing NSW? What did he do?

Yes it’s a totally different industry to the NRL, but it’s an industry where the participants generally do not like those in charge. While Mestrov was in charge he was very well liked and held in high regard.
FYI this is nothing to do with anything else other than some wanting to heavily criticise Mestrov without knowing his back story.
We don’t even know if the story mentioning him has any substance or is just a media guess to create headlines.
