As one of the very few posters on here from the Wests Magpies side of the JV that haven't been chased away by the Balmain people, did you think I was going to start a riot for posting on here from a Magpies pov?

Anyway, I had better get back on topic.

As you know I have followed the mighty Magpies since 1963 and I'm now nearly 80 yoa.

Without doubt, what's happening currently are the darkest days since I started following footy.
But the next few days are going to be darker still.
Our JV hasn't worked and won't work while the Balmain side of the JV continue with the aggressiveness that's currently being displayed, and led by the chief head kicker and stirrer known on here as Cochise.

Are you saying I was intentionally provoking?...because you won't be able to produce any evidence that I had been intentionally insulting.

If stating my two and tuppence worth as someone from the Wests Magpies side of the JV which may be the opposite of 99% of the posters here, is judged to be 'intentionally provoking or insulting' again I strongly disagree.

What I am certain of though, is the amount and frequency of absolutely disgusting trolling containing what can only be described as outright abuse @Vicious got hit with over a long period of time.
I was so appalled by it just prior to me being banned, I sent a PM to you complaining of the treatment he was receiving.

I'm interested to know if any action was taken against the posters that were 100% trolling by being intentionally insulting.

Returning to member control is probably too steep an ask. WT members are there, but were not made of money.

I hope Richo and all those concerned can give us a structure that respects fans while making our club, stable.

It is risky, as you say if you get the wrong person in to buy the joint were back at square one. Though Richo did set Souths up prior and post privatisation and they seem to be doing OK. Richo and the N.R.L will know exactly who the Wests Tigers need in the future, I can't see the N.R.L just selling to anyone if that eventuates. Reason it's preferable is we've had 25 years of 80s boardroom garbage with no end in sight. We have no way to enact change at HBG so are at the mercy of 20 people who are irreplaceable. Privatisation is a risk that the wrong people may buy the joint, though the chances of New owners being worse than what we have are fairly slim. Whoever is buying would have the business experience and contacts so would be much more competent in owning the team than the people we have now who are there because they shelled out $100 at some point.
