For example, shouldn't people be cancelling their Wests Ashfield memberships first? Or not visitng the joint? Or write to to supporters of Wests Ashfield voicing disgust. Any other ways. How do you change the governance of Wests Ashfield?

If people want to cancel Wests Tigers memberships and not turn up at games, who is that hurting? It hurts the Wests Tigers more then Ashfield.

The players, coach Wests Tigers board, Cambo, sponsors want to see us supporting them.

I'm not suggesting, the supporters don't voice their frustrations somehow but what's the most constructive?

If we can get the debenture holders into a proper structure, accountable to members, then we'll need the ashfield memberships.

Maybe Chammas is right and Millencamp can navigate through the rough waters and steer the ship .
But HBG need to either go , or change the debenture system to allow more democracy .
Now that Chammas has revealed he’s seen the emails and correspondence revealing the magpies plot to be true … it’s unsustainable.

The thing chammas didnt say though was, if all this is true, why did they announce support for richo. The math aint mathing

Look no disrespect to the people you are mentioning, replacing Richo with Meilekamp is a huge step backwards and are you seriously suggesting replacing a premier and a person with experience on the boards of the Australian Paralympics and Swimming Australia who is also a prominent young lawyer with 2 footballers?

I think Skando and Galea have a lot to offer but are a step backwards.

Wayne Pearce, one of my favourite players of all time, got a job as a coach. Then he got appointed to various boards over time. He's something to do with the ARL now isn't he? Commission Chair or something?

Why can't well spoken football guys, like Skandalis & Ben Galea offer something at Board level for the Tigers? Skando has worked for the club since retiring. Galea works as a video referee, so has links with the NRL now.

Why not guys like that? I don't imagine HBG are offering better options.

I'd rather a board that has their heart in the club.

Mielekamp is only a step backwards in that his history is in a different sport. His results as CEO are very respectable.

I'm suggesting a board of Wests Tigers people will keep the majority shareholders feeling a little less 'disrespected' than absolute impartials with no link to the club. They are just names. There are probably better options. But they don't have to be from outside the club to do the job well & still be 'independent' of HBG.

Tony Mestrov was CEO of Manly. But before that, CEO of NSW Greyhounds. Could he hold a board position instead of CEO?

But laugh all you want- right now, he resigned. Not sacked. The board did not sack him. Did they want him out? Probably. Did it have to play out this way? Probably not. They DID sack the board members. But not Richo. If they were in a sacking mood- couldn't they have booted him along with O'Farrell etc? They didn't. Why?

Supposition, Richo openly said when he was sitting next to Julie Romero he had the full confidence that the Barnier review findings would be fully implemented and he wouldn't have come on board if there wasn't an independant board at Wests Tigers. Short of the N.R.L placing us into administration while he was here, HBG knew full well once they booted the independant directors Richo was going aswell. They just didn't care.

Yes his results are very good, in a lower tier sport. You also can't compare his cv to richo's, they aren't in the same universe.

Im not saying skando and galea don't have anything to offer, but look what you are losing. Do you think they have the government and political connections that a former premier has, or the corporate governance experience of someone that has sat on the boards of swimming Australia?

How are you replacing those skills? Also don't forget the dismissed directors were appointed against a skills matrix, why aren't we looking for people that meet the highest possible standards?

From all reports the conditions of the clauses in richos contract were all tied to retention of BOF and the independent WT Board ongoing. Obviously Richo had seen previous HBG management ‘activities/honesty’

How many clubs in the gutter has he raised to win comps. Richo had 2 here, 1 in England. They're not even in the same solar system.

But what does he know about league , he would have no or very little contacts in league , not saying he is a bad choice but u need to be in the grove in this sport
