Youre tipping?I agree with the first part.
Some disagree and are adamant our NSW Cup team must be Wests Tigers, even though Brisbane and Melbourne do not feel the need to have their feeder teams replicate the name of their NRL team.
As for the debenture system, I am very sketchy on how it exactly works, but my understanding their is a current t clique involving 3 of 4 internationals who are currently in control and the others have not yet reached that status.
I’m tipping there is a huge chance of an internal challenge as a result of the recent events.
Incorrect.Seems not.
Some are calling for management and governance change others are calling for a sale of the Wests Tigers others still a name change.
Seems factional.
It’s actually a pretty small crew of them.Incorrect.
And people like yourself are continuing to muddy the waters.
The message is clear;
Return the club to a structure of independent governance.
If HBG cannot return the Wests Tigers Football Club to an independently governed entity, then either sell, replace the current board or have the NRL step in to ensure this outcome (administrator appointment, licensee regulations, etc).
No one involved in the rally is looking for a name change. In fact, the messaging has been crystal clear, it's the literal opposite.
You're just another in a long-line of meddlers trying to undermine fans doing what they can to rescue a club being held to ransom.
Which position? WT director? Magpies chair? HBG chair? debenture holders?Youre tipping?
Its been reported widely dennis' position is under threat...id imagine a few others also
I don't think she's doing it out of malice. A lot of nonsense being thrown around about the core issues including by PVL himself assuming it's a Balmain v Wests scuffle.Incorrect.

Return the club to a structure of independent governance Is the most important thing that is required and can easily be done to at least plug a few holes for the time being.Incorrect.

I agree and I’m hopeful that’s a condition PVL puts on the licence if it is to remain with HBG.Independent governance that cannot be removed on a whim by HBG… this is the minimum required

I believe a fair compromise is for that to happen and in return there is an agreement that our NSW Cup team structure does not change at least for the next few years.
I’m not saying it is or it isn’t, but if that’s all that is needed to sway a large number of Wests Tigers supporters with a connection to Wests Magpies to be content and agree a return to independent governance is urgently required, then why not just agree to leaving our NSW Cup team alone for the time being,I couldnt care less about the NSW Cup team …and I doubt what happens there is influencing any decision made by HBG..
In terms of importance right now it’s less than one percentI’m not saying it is or it isn’t, but if that’s all that is needed to sway a large number of Wests Tigers supporters with a connection to Wests Magpies to be content and agree a return to independent governance is urgently required, then why not just agree to leaving our NSW Cup team alone for the time being,

Not trying to nitpick, but the fact that HBG could still remove independent board people means that there was no independent governace to begin with.Incorrect.

It has not been mentioned as an issue, but if it can be used as a compromise to change nothing and still assist in the independent governance being reinstated, it would be a good thing wouldn’t it ?Who is even mentioning that the NSW Cup team name is an issue ?

Would be good to see more outside the ground than in.If HBG is still there come the start of season, I hope there is some appetite amongst supporters to protest outside the gate on game day. If there is, I am very keen to be involved 👍
