Tom...we already know how this plays out. The old farts and one-eyed Magpies at HBG can't help themselves. They don't even believe they are doing anything wrong.

I'll add...these fish brains (nod to @Rock Hopper Steve ) can't remember more than 6 months prior so everything will seem new again and like it never happened before...one more chance they'll say. Don't you think Leo who caught a few high balls in the 80's can run our club they'll say. It's not Dennis they'll say. Mielekamp is a crook they'll say.

I tell you brother ..I took a couple of days out from here to watch a few NFL games .. came back a few hours back and the cockroaches had exploded … had to buy coupla cans of Baygon…

BOF is an idiot.
A handful of people on this forum know much more than both of them.
We could win the next 3 premierships and you and a few others would still be hung up on who owns or controls the club.
Meanwhile the fans of every other NRL club could not care less who owns or controls the club they support or who is on the board.

That’s what you used to obsess over … now it’s talking up the gronk owners ..
It will confirm you know more than the experts and can predict the future.
People with all the facts such as PVL and BOF obviously accept the direction we are currently heading, but you and a few other self proclaimed experts cannot.
Who cares who the owners are, fans of other NRL clubs do not care, why are we obsessed with it ?
Common sense tells us PVL and BOF have the facts, nobody on this forum has all the facts.
So if the 2 people with all of the facts are trying to move forward for the good of the coach and players, it’s a pity some fans cannot.
There was no problem with the protest on Saturday, the point was made loud and clear, but now it’s just becoming obsessive.

On here? 100% yes they are.
In the wider community? Nope.
The care factor on this one is very low.
Doesn't the HBG business model rely on people with gambling addictions "wasting money"?
Fans of other clubs also don't have their owners trying to bring back a club from the dead...
Kinda the point of a supporter forum mate.
The general public may not care like we do, but they sure as hell think the place is a basket case.
Nor is it coming out of any of the directors pockets but they seem to have a talent for giving it away.
HBG signed off on a deal well aware of the clauses and reneged on them - they wasted the money.
If wasting money was the measure of a strong club we would be setting the standard

You did say yourself we could make the top 8 next season and it will not change you mind or stance on the matter.
What are your thoughts on Daniel Paton ?
It sounds like you think he could be ok, other than the fact he is associated with HBG.
We keep assuming the old regime namely DB will continue to pull the strings, but is there any chance the old regime are now happy to pass the baton on to some new fresher faces such as Daniel Paton ?
I understand they could put the pope on their board and you still wouldn’t be happy, but I’m just trying to point out that there could be a big change in who is making the decisions on behalf of HBG and it could be a result of a friendly push from PVL.
I acknowledge you have advised you are giving HBG a couple of months to prove they are doing the right thing before driving more protests, so it’s a case of time will tell and I don’t have a crystal ball to be certain HBG will not again step out of line, but neither does anyone who is against them.
