We focus a lot on recruits but I think its more important Benji and the spine work out the style of attack we will play and commit to that. Last year it looked like we didnt know if we wanted a ballplaying lock or a 3rd front rower. Benji had a bet each way playing 3 frontrowers but trying to get all of them to play the link role at times. Then Latu and Doueihi spent time there. So it was like he just wasnt sure how to work it. We cant go the 2026 with the same uncertainty of our style. We need to be preparing for it now and committing to it.

When Attard's cutting other teams to pieces in the lower grades and Melbourne comes along with an offer it won't matter what he knew in 2025.
If we're fair dinkum about ever winning a comp. we can't do that with Bula at the back. Look at the teams that played in the grand final this year, fullbacks who are always posing a constant threat. Bula just can't do that, that's not his style.
If we pay Bula his reported salary we have another Brooks situation where he can't be dropped.
Attard must not be lost.

Bula is a good fullback and still has growth potential. Attard can probably play another position if he merits 1st grade selection. Happens in all clubs. Depth is better than having only 1 'good' player for a position. It's like having successive crops in your veggie garden.

Can't say i've seen much of Attard play but he has played 2 games of NSW cup. We clearly see Bula differently as I think we look 10x more dangerous when he is on the field. Turuva a capable fill-in but is not a fulltime fullback.

I don't think letting go of Bula, having Turuva play fullback in the hope Attard comes good is a wise move. If Attard is as good as you think, he will force his way in.

Also had a dream we played manly next year brooks played and manly won , we were on a loosing streak again although attard scored a try providing teddy vibes.

The last time I was called bold I was 6 and it was a nun calling me that.
I was 6 so I didn't know what the word bold meant, I thought she called me bald.
I told her I had hair and she sent me to the principal's office.

A guy I know his sister works with the players at the Broncos she has worked there for a few years now I saw him the other day we had a chat about Madge and a few other things

what's that family guy joke again? "A boat's a boat, but the mystery box could be anything, it could even be a boat!"

The fact is that we don't know if Attard will end up being good. He's played 2 games of NSW cup. To put all our eggs in his basket and then play a subpar fullback in Turuva for a year when we have Bula right there is not something that a smart club would do.

So can bula (also change position if the other guys form is screaming out ‘select me’ ). Competition for spots is healthy

If Benji wants him they need to be doing everything they can to get it done - especially now they have backed him for the next 5years. The club and team need no more focus on unrest at the club.

How much have you seen of Attard by the way? I hope your right about him, but Penrith don't let go a potential Edwards replacement for no reason. Particularly as Edwards is starting to show signs of dropping off
