Bula is always going to be a guy who floats in and out of games. Even his much vaunted international appearance where he scored 20 tries in 5 minutes involved a second half disappearing act.

If Attard is thought of so highly, the play would be trigger the 1 year extension of Bula and re-asses their development at the end of the season.

It's taking too long for Bula if it was the assurance of Benji being there he has it now, is he asking for a million after recent disruptions, who really knows I hope it's no more than 850k.

As for Attard he signed a 3-year deal knowing that Bula was a good chance of re-signing but could see that he would be the clear no.2 backup, is that not a good place to be at the age of 19 he probably won't be 1st grade ready for a season or two anyhow.

I hope Benji has reach the coaching level next season that we all hope he will achieve, that means no playing favourites if the kid turns out to be a blue blood give him a shot somewhere in the team.

Anyhow when was the last time Bula went through a hole season without injury, is anyone out there confident he'll get through all 24 games, I'm hearing crickets.

Yep it’s $850 for me to, take it or let’s move on.

Probably still cleaning up the debris after the place was blown up, waiting for the dust to settle.
We will still get the old going to do this and going to do that we are training the house down and we could be huge annual rev up.

Trouble is with the anticipation that builds up every off season we always believe it lol.
 
As others have pointed out, Bula should not be getting offered or paid more than 800k at the moment, but in light of what’s happened over the past couple of weeks it’s highly likely we will pay him 1 million dollars per season.
Not ideal, but. not the worst 200k per season we have ever over spent either.

. . . . . . . and why do we need to overspent?

Wouldn't have anything to do with HBG blowing this place up and then having to give Benji an unwarranted extension in the hope that players don't leave in droves.

That is a large part of the problem yes.
Not 💯 of the problem like many people want to believe.
