Claws Out Podcast

With a new board expected for Wests Tigers this month , Shaun will be a HBG puppet as the boards will be stacked by HBG they will have control of both and what comes down from HBg will be applied at Wests Tigers untill PVL comes knocking again , the muppets at HBG will try again to control everything ,
As much hope as I hold for him, I got that same impression from the podcast. Ill give him the benefit of the doubt until its proven otherwise though.

Unless he put the boot into HBG some people such as yourself were not going to be happy no matter what he said.
In his position as interim CEO his only option is to stay neutral and as he says he will do his best to mend the burnt bridges.

In no world did I think he would say anythng negative about hbg, nor does that mean I was not going to be happy. So please stop talking out your backside for just one day...

Shaun is only interim ceo. If he doesn't do what they want, then his job is potentially on the line. As I said in my post, I will wait to see how it plays out...

Surely you would agree Wests Tigers as a club desperately needs stability more than ever at the moment.
Providing HBG do the right thing for the foreseeable future, it won’t help us by continuing a crusade to turf them out at this stage.

“A pessimistic person is one who is often seen as lacking hope and joy and is marked by disbelief or distrust. Basically, to be pessimistic means expecting the worst in all situations.”

Does this sound like you??? A joy to be around!
You might be taking a bit of poetic licence there Kev...I'm not pessimistic about "all situations". 😅

My pessimism is highly targeted, but I can't thank you enough for another free character assessment. You seem to be handing those out quite liberally. Who are you again?

Shaun strikes me as a CEO who tows the PR line and is very careful & considered with his words. Whereas Richo was more flamboyant with his phrases & would deliver little gold nuggets for fans in what he would deliver. Just different leaders.
I'm sure Richo is happy to be called almost anything, but flamboyant might not match his self-perception. 👬🏳️‍🌈🕺

Well...they only heal if you stop cutting them open before they've had a chance to repair. Seems like this lot can't wait more than 12 to 18 months.

If HBG truly want to heal the damage they caused, why don't they come out and explain why they sacked the independent directors, if they showed some transparency and it was a good reason for it then the outrage would have faded by now into a dim memory.

Not explaining themselves is the basis for the lack of trust, the footy club is for the fans and they deserve to know the truth.

Mate they explained themselves very clearly. Daniel Paton did it on video. Then they couldn't justify the reason because none of it made sense.

No communication on big commercial decisions was the reason given yet the chairman of the HBG board was sitting on the WT board the whole time and in attendance at all meetings.

This was all about getting power back because they didn't like what was being voted for under an independent board.

Yeah, I know, the response was just dribble and their pathetic excuses does point to a lust for power.

Just makes you wonder if there could have been some other reason, surely they wouldn't think their weak responses were good enough to convince the fans and it would blow over.

What in their history makes you think HBG has the ability to provide stability.

I actually had a conversation with someone who is involved with the Magpies and it is exactly what I told them.

You have fans of the club that are disillusioned at the moment, putting your head in the sand doesn't solve the situation.

If they think they can lead the club they need to come out and explain how and why they can do that. Show us the plan for the way forward.
