I'm with you, so I'll say Adam didn't have his best game.
Jock in limited minutes, and from me watching on the hill, he had a much better kicking and directing game in my opinion.

If Moses has got in his ear and head and causing havoc what can we do?
It’s about unlocking the talent we have in our backs for me. Whichever half does it better should earn the role.
The kicking game also pivotal.

He and AD were clunky.
Two very different kicking games Doeuhi was more high bombs for us to get under Jocks kicking has been great but field position kicking finding grass often..
Would be great if we could utilise both at once thatd keep em guessing

AD has a big boot and seems to like to wind up and kick it high and long. Probably needs to introduce some variety with his distance and give his chasers an opportunity to compete. Noticed at one stage Bula was really flat out making it into a contest and gave a (dodgy) penalty away.
What some see as disinterested, could just be his focused look.
Notice he doesn't wear a mouthguard though.
I'm a Bula fan, hope he has a good year and extends with us. Still, think he has another gear to show us.

How many of our recent seasons have been interrupted by this stuff. Seems like plenty of. I hope they get something resolved in the next 3 weeks.
He has already shown it. He's played plenty of excellent games for us - including last year.
All the negativity around Bula is coming from people who have PTSD from other contract issues with other players.
He didn't play great, but he will be good for us this year and hopefully gets his extension done ASAP
I reckon there's something more though.
Which we haven't seen.
This guy is a supreme talent.

He will have to improve his shit last man defence before I will get really excited about Bula, when he first started playing 1st grade his defence was good.
But it has deteriorated to the point that he probably lets in more than he scores.
I don’t put much stock in those last ditch fullback tackles. Plenty of FB’s aren’t able to make the clutch play there. Occasionally they pull one off and it’s amazing but I never expect them to as the odds are against it.
Bula pulled off a fair few in his first year and it’s probably just regression to the mean.

Bula needs to be more committed to the collision, all the good fullbacks like to get hit but keep going, tackle breaks. Not sure he has it in him.
If he can get this into his game then he could become a very good player but atm and last year there was a lack of the 'hard' stuff

If the reports are true that he's chasing 950k that's getting into the range of elite money, I would expect much better defensive efforts for that coin.
