Jahream Bula #269

1 more icecream and its bed time . Paps is damaged goods and is /would not be a big money player if he r backflipped from retirement
Choclate, Vanilla or Strawberry?

Or are you talking Mango Sorbet?
Weis make a Mango + Macadamia nut.. Man that's to die for.

Meh replace Paps with say Dylan Edwards... We would jump at him even if it was 1.2 or 1.3m
We can play overs for a total gun player if that player brings a stack of value for the team. Jerome Luai is case in point.

a - d -i

Sure he would look better if the team surrounding him played better
Correct - he is not a retain at all cost player ,when his form of late has shown he is doing the job of any garden variety fullback on half the price

900k -- I want to start seeing some MOTM performances. Not every week, but certainly more than last season. Maybe he simply stood out much more in a terrible 2023 side when he first came along.

I would say his raw ability puts him above the garden variety fullback tho - don't take his pace and skill cheaply, that extra yard of pace and acceleration after a line break isn't easy to find, even if it's not him breaking the line

He makes it look easy. Look at that epic Cowboys try he finished off last year... watch him from the 40m line onwards. Turuva has the ball but watch Bula's turn of pace to turn up in the right position for that final pass, and then go even faster again one he got it. Just caught up to everything and sailed over like it was nothing.

We are waiting for the Inglis/Hayne moments aren't we?? He definitely needs to change a game for us to believe again.

Chinese green tea or is it Samaritan gold Your the perfect free thinker to apotheosize with ,Bula does a runner slot Jerome into fullback ,supreme eye on a game, directing traffic
The broken 1 and Dwayhee in the halves

Do you really think we can pay 450k and we'll get someone that does what Bula can in first grade?? In a marketplace with two cashed up new clubs joining? It's not Lowes.

I'd rather invest in potential than overpay for veterans at this point. Look at Gutherson already out of gas at the Dragons. That's what we'd get. How are we going to stand out in the marketplace with PNG and Bears all cashed up, we'd have to offer 4 years at 750k to turn heads of even average players, and by that stage you have to ask yourself is the extra 250k to keep a talented player for a couple of seasons that bad?

750 at this stage tops x 2. the rest can come later if / when he proves himself ,
I put my hand up from day dot ,not to pay Bula on potential and so far that is all he has shown
