I think Hunt probably does scrape into top 19 more often than not but if we are using rep career to justify it why don't we bring back Bateman or Matamua? Heck Rua played for Cook Islands recently didn't he? He could be our bench hooker.

you misundestood my post the nrl & koe cup draws arenrt compatible....eg: round 2 we play at LO 3pm... reggies at lidcombe 2pm same day
rd 3 both at gosford reggies before WTs
rd 4 same in NZ
rd 5 same v parra at parra reggies first

We have 3 top 30 spots to fill and it appears they will only be filled with minimum wage contracts, so it’s not as if we will be getting anyone notable.

This is the best news.

I honestly believe past spot 22-23, we should make them all min value contracts.

It is highway robbery with Construction bidding these days.

By that I mean it's 90% contracts, evaluations, insurance and red tape. 10% work.
Ofcourse they say privatise, outsource, competitively bid and each time it reduces the price for about 6 months and adds a stack of bloat to the process...

We really don't need multiple 300m stadiums. We just don't.

Agree ----- when fit.
IMO usually has some sort of fitness problem.
I'm just not confident this season will be any different with his "niggles" and his game time minutes decreasing.
The game has moved on, faster, more endurance and stamina required from his Cronulla days.
But fingers crossed. We need him on the paddock contributing, not just giving someone else a break.

It seemed like a stupid idea when it was initially proposed and I’ve seen nothing to change my opinion.

Chances slim to take the lad out of Queensland plus we don't often get players from the Orr management group (PSM) but $$$ talk and he could be a viable right centre too if Attard, Brookes or Tavana become irresistible fullback options down the track.

Our content has really gone to crap without Richo

A few simple things ...

1. Player profile page on the club website still has not got Madden and features Bird (Round 1 is in 2 days).
2. Team lists for junior reps haven't been posted on Tuesdays.
3. Poor coverage of junior reps in general to enable members/fans to build a connection with our young players.
4. Training photos of players are not captioned with player names. Yes fans know most players but cannot assume fans know all of them especially Devs and T&Ts.

A positive are the coffee chat Youtube profiles that have started but even they can delve a little deeper into the player themselves.

Yes our social media reels are very bells'n whistles and get good stats but there could be a lot more connection with players and behind-the-scenes pieces with fans of players & staff.
