Our content has really gone to crap without Richo

A few simple things ...

1. Player profile page on the club website still has not got Madden and features Bird (Round 1 is in 2 days).
2. Team lists for junior reps haven't been posted on Tuesdays.
3. Poor coverage of junior reps in general to enable members/fans to build a connection with our young players.
4. Training photos of players are not captioned with player names. Yes fans know most players but cannot assume fans know all of them especially Devs and T&Ts.

A positive are the coffee chat Youtube profiles that have started but even they can delve a little deeper into the player themselves.

Yes our social media reels are very bells'n whistles and get good stats but there could be a lot more connection with players and behind-the-scenes pieces with fans of players & staff.

Not only that mate but the Vegas news, leaked. Nothing from the club about it. Eels teasing theirs with content. Bird, still no announcement about his departure - heard it from the SL club.

Also no consistency. One random minute-long interview from Herbert of all people post trial game? Like okay... Is ‘behind the roar’ dead now? The coffee chats are on the main YT channel. Makes me feel like it’s just to sell something if that’s all we put out.

Our socials team used to be the better of it all but even that’s sucks now. Titans, Eels, Penrith stuff all come up on my TL and it’s far better content then we get.

It's very frustrating hey!

If the Media Manager is too busy mc'ing events and functions, it's not hard to get a team of staff to do the writing and production, even a group of university interns who would jump at the opportunity (obviously material approved before publication).

I can understand the socials to a degree. They are trying to push out current pop culture type content so it engages the players to also share. But that content is for a young generation (<25). Us older types 30+ prefer content with a bit more substance & information which the club is neglecting atm.
