Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Vicious keeps saying we’re waiting for him to live up to his price tag as if we haven’t already offered him just shy of a million. It’s obviously not about money with Jahream.
If that kind of money has been offered well that's dissapointing.

I haven't checked stats but I would like to know from last season tries scored/tries let in, guessing it's not good.

If he wants close to elite money this would need to improve.

In signing some good depth talent yes that was astute recruitment.
I’m not sure why this is still a topic, Richo has moved on, so should our supporters.
That's what the motivation was behind Richardson working with an independent board - getting supporters to "move on".

History shows we don't move on that easily.

Let me make it easy
People called Richo corrupt because he had an affiliation with Easts Tigers and had a share in the agency that signed Faatape and Murray. Yet now the same people are cheering about Murray. Just testing some logic that's all. If you don't want to participate, you can jog on.

Your contribution added nothing.

I'll make it even easier for you: "yet Murray seems to be in favour and even the people calling him corrupt are saying he should stay on". You wrote this rubbish falsehood, so why not just admit that you can't articulate a proposition? - FYI -I repeat that nobody called Charlie Murray Corrupt ... ever ... I mean, why would they? If your beef is with Richo, that's fine, but honestly, you appear to be just shit-stirring for the sake of it. Jog on, indeed.

I reckon Barnett leaving is a blessing in disguise for the Warriors given how Jackson Ford has developed and currently playing. A younger, more athletic version of Barnett on much less money. He pairs well with JFH and they have good young middles on the bench like Vaimauga and Stowers-Smith.

The Warriors and Webster don’t get enough credit for their development and coaching of their young players and overall recruitment and retention strategy.

I didn't say anyone called Murray corrupt. You have misinterpreted my post, so you are carrying on about something that doesn't exist.

Charlie Murray is a good improving player, I’m hoping he re-signs with us for a few more years.
I also like Tristan Hope who Richo played a big part in signing.
So no doubt he (Richo) done some good things for us in the recruitment space.
In saying that it’s not rocket science to identify a couple of well performing, battle hardened Qld Cup players to sign on NSW Cup contracts to try and improve what was at that time our very poorly performing NSW Cup team.
Look I like Tristan Hope too.

But neither Tristan or Charlie Murray are game winners. Both are fringe graders with Murray a chance at becoming a first grader.

It's why Wayne Bennett is so key because he can bring that Champion talent (i.e. Payne Haas, etc). Richo did bring some great contracts, but if both Tristan and Murray were missing from our squad. Our ladder position would not change.

The last bloke who lied about what actually happened was Albo, when he said, "I didn't fall off the stage," even though he clearly did, and again when he said, "I wasn't heckled," at the Mosque, even though he clearly was. Are you actually Albo, weststigers?

Your words: "yet Murray seems to be in favour and even the people calling him corrupt are saying he should stay on".

Gotta love the english language. Apparently, I misinterpreted your words. BTW that's the excuse Muslims use when trying to explain the Quran's teachings.

Purdue is same as Bula..done nothing to change the outrcome of their club
Greedy managers..which is what we have to deal with
And saying nup..gotta do it
Purdue will be the number one fullback in the NRL within 3 years.
Paying him anything up to 1 million per season is a bargain for whoever gets his signature.

That’s not the point.
Even if we were the ones who signed Payne Hass, we would have had to lose Terrell May and another of middles to fit him in.
Of course every club is taking Hass if you can get him, but it’s a very different scenario to signing depth players.

It's an ambiguous pronoun error. The sentence doesn't specify who 'he' is. It was poorly worded but Weststigers is using 'he' to refer to Richo you are interpreting 'he' to be Murray.
Also Weststigers isn't having a go at Richo he is having a go at those who suggested Richo was corrupt.
