Patrick Herbert was the standout today. But remember, these were basically kids from the Slimes. We had some experienced hard heads in Herbert, Bunty & Sukkar (yes, I know he is young as well, but he really lifted when needed) to grind out the W.

Attard is speedy and evasive. No need to rush him, though. His time may come next season if Bula goes elsewhere.

Javon is likely our NRL lock in the future (Latu & Luai in the halves) - he is classy and physically capable, unlike Galvin, who is all arms and thin legs.

The headgear winger is a keeper! That escape from the in-goal should go viral. He actually ran to the centre of the in goal and then backtracked to get into the field of play.

The hookers were good, Hodges & Lanyon.

Toa didn't get anywhere near the same amount of ball as Herbert. But at least he lasted the distance.

Do not disregard the ability of Luke Jack.
Today was not his best game due to a basic dropped ball with his first ouch and a high tackle penalty conceded which he is prone to do, but the teams defensive line speed, energy and aggression all lift significantly when he is on the field. He is small in stature for a forward, but rips in and makes a difference a lot similar to the way Ray Stone has impressed at times throughout his NRL career.
For me he’s a keeper and someone who definitely has NRL bench potential.

Toa didn't go looking for it either. Herbert did.

Of course he is has had a foot injury.

Did what was needed today and back in nrl next week
Not on your nelly. On that form displayed after return from an injury, you'd promote him in to NRL and break a winning backline squad? His displayed form does not merit it. Probably Laulilli will be out but id like to see other options first.
