3 Jock Madden - his kicking and game management were outstanding. He is the best first receiver at our club. The way he runs and squares up the defenders is giving our outside men space. Bula in particular is looking more dangerous since Jock started at 7.
2 Api Koroisau - so many BIG effort plays in defence. Try savers and tackles that had to be made or else we would concede a link break.
1 Alex Twal - this one is an engine based selection. 82 minutes, did not take a break. 17 runs 119m, 51 tackles 2 missed. Absolute machine, still our best player so far this year.

I’m not sure if I would give Jock Madden the 3 points, but very happy to see everyone giving them to him, he plays with intelligence and brings a little bit of sanity to our unorganised chaos.
Royce Hunt has to get at least 1 point, his impact was phenomenal once again.

That's the kind of attitude that wins you premierships. Yes you have a minor injury, but you can still play at 60% and do your role to a serviceable standard.
