Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Jordan Samrani is big enough and strong enough to play edge back row, but he is fast s ough to get the job done and be a very da heroes attacking weapon as a centre or winger.
It’s crazy why he not permanently in the Eels NRL team and he would be an upgrade on Skelton if the Eels were silly enough to consider that swap.
In saying all of this I’m not sure what Skelton has done wrong, much more confident of us winning every time he plays.
If the Eels would swap Samrani for To’a that wound be much better for us, but I’m sure they are not that stupid.

Samrani is a tough bastard and will end a good backrower. I wpuld be happy to give him a shot at right centre though, he could end up a very solid and physical player for us in that role. No world beater, just tough, honest and reliable

Murray Taulagi could be another option for centres, he has played a few games there or you could keep Masi in centres. Both on the left but much better options than To’a. Only issue is money he’d want

How do you know? Public?

HORROR DISGNOSIS FOR TIGER

Wests Tigers star Samuela Fainu is set to miss around six weeks with a foot fracture, in another huge blow to Benji Marshall’s outfit.

Fainu failed to finish Sunday’s heavy loss to Cronulla after an innocuous looking tackle on Sharks prop Toby Rudolf left the back rower grimacing with pain.

Unable to bear any weight on his right foot, Fainu had to be chaired off the field into the sheds by Tigers trainers late in the second half.

Fainu was sent for scans on Monday, which confirmed the 22-year-old had suffered a fractured foot.

It comes as Marshall prepares to spend the next four to six weeks without star playmaker Adam Doueihi, whose career best form has helped drive the Tigers’ resurgence this season.

Doueihi dislocated his shoulder scoring a try against Cronulla, leaving the field after just 10 minutes.

Horror diagnoses? Talk about sensationalism. Six weeks could be a good thing considering it looked like it could have easily been season ending. And idk about anyone else, but I got flashes of Tuiaki. Thankfully it’s nothing like that. So six weeks is a relief in a way. Who knows, could be less if he rehabs well.

The look on his face when he was chaired off made you think he lost his foot, so yes, it could of been a lot worse.

Those lisfranc injuries can take months to heal if he copped one of those.

Terrible news for big Sam F 6 weeks out and AD as well with 4 to 6 weeks and API another 2 weeks , this is going to be very tough for us over the next month or so , we don’t have the cattle to cover this in reserve grade , Sione into Sam’s spot and Mason into Hooker for me , bring in Bunty on the bench , Hope and Sukker are average at best , club needs to recruit reserve graders better , Geyer = Dud , This type even cheap don’t work you need guys on the verge who will bust one to try and force their way into firsts , Geyer was not on the verge
