TBH I would rather any Origin related transgressions are not carried on to club games, punish them in game more harshly than you would for a normal game fine them a larger percent of their match payment, ban them from origin matches in the future, penalise the team by losing interchanges etc..im sure there are plenty of creative ideas..however it should not impact the club or fans.

I dont understand how you think the ponga situation was OK, but Api and the "hip drops" deserve the punishment.

I don’t think it was ok and said so at the time. Sin bin was warranted. Send off was an over reaction.
Api is a serial offender, too dumb to change a clear flaw in his technique and it costs us every year..actually a few times a year.

It is double standards but the double standards are Origin and NRL. Origin literally operates under a different judiciary code. Grade 2 contact in Origin is a fine. Grade 2 contact in NRL is 2 weeks.

Rightly or wrongly, It was overhauled in 2022 due to clubs complaining they were losing players to suspensions they received for Origin.
Anything egregious (Grade 3, maximum for a charge rather than direct referral is still treated the same).
