For all the weeks that Latu has rode the pine and come on at lock, you can only wonder what would have happened had he of come on at halfback today.

Down on troops before coming into this game, losing two more in the process and a very questionable refereeing performance, they've done well to compete as long as what we have against an in form dolphins.

Injuries have buggered any chance we've had this season.

So is it bad luck ot bad management?
Benji probably thought 30 seconds over that call … seriously Mason should be in case of absolute emergency only .., how many more times we got to see him in the NRL?

No, Lanyon cannot play the 60 plus straight minutes at nine that would have been needed.

Dont tell me you are going to make an argument that mason can play 60 straight minutes in the halves? Becsuse he cant.

It was 20 before half time. Then he would of had a breather.

Then you do what you can in the 2nd half with lanyon, even if it meant pushing mason into hooker for 15 minutes.

It was the wrong decision and it cost us a chance of winning

Weve known for ages Mason isnt up for it. What Benji sees in him iv got no idea, i know hes only young but still hes been given more opportunity at half than Latu has. Its mind boggling.

He played 56 mins last week. Playing Api at 7 would have preserved a player from the interchange bench in the event Jock came back allowing us to stick to the original plan.

Besides, Api’s value at 7 far outweighs Mason’s. Lanyon’s value at 9 far outweighs Mason’s value at 7.

Straight minutes, as per my post, not two periods with a half hour plus break in between like last week. Totally different.

Apart from that, why move arguably the form hooker of the competition and compromise two positions.
