And it goes back to my initial comment that if Wests Tigers are serious about making a better connection with the South-West region, a focus needs to be keeping a better percentage of the many South-West products playing NRL in Wests Tigers colours.

I heard somewhere (maybe on a pod or a journo) that there was supposed to be a press conference yesterday but Romey’s management leaked the info last week. I think that’s why the club sent the info on Saturday. Benji has been great dealing with the media this year but either he or the club missed a great opportunity to get everything out in the open.
