Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

RIP to the careers of any players unfortunate enough to have been given guidance/coaching by that imbecile.
Maybe the ones that went on to play NRL or Grade should have been coached by someone like you who has no opinion and no idea and the only thing that comes out of your mouth is criticism.
If you have no idea how to provide an opinion or a solution, you are better off shutting your trap.

How far are we going to consider them as a junior? Harold Matts is 16 years old mate.

What do you consider a pathways player and what do you consider a junior player?

I wasn't weighing in on the definitions of juniors and pathway players, I was merely pointing out that many of the guys you identified as Wests products never played for Wests; they were either Balmain juniors, came through the Balmain pathways or joined WT in Flegg.

And it goes back to my initial comment that if Wests Tigers are serious about making a better connection with the South-West region, a focus needs to be keeping a better percentage of the many South-West products playing NRL in Wests Tigers colours.

No presser yesterday...any updates?
I doubt he doesnt play v Dogs

Not much need for that presser once it had already become common knowledge.

Surely Jarome plays against the dogs and each week that he is available, as he was putting in on Friday night despite all the hullabaloo prior to the match. Hopefully we see a halfback selected to play as well, and preferably Latu.

Benji presser at 12.45pm after field work training.

I heard somewhere (maybe on a pod or a journo) that there was supposed to be a press conference yesterday but Romey’s management leaked the info last week. I think that’s why the club sent the info on Saturday. Benji has been great dealing with the media this year but either he or the club missed a great opportunity to get everything out in the open. As you know all we are going to hear everyday now is he said she said BS. The media can go way over the top with us but geez we load their guns so well.

is Farah coming back to the club in some capacity ?
Farah can start an argument in an empty room.

I hate seeing he's framed that photo of himself drinking beer in front of the LO scoreboard and puts in the the frame of a lot of interviews -- he's even branded it. We lost that game and he didn't even play. It's hardly a triumph. And it's not like he didn't get his 20k pay packet that week.

Robbie Farah -- Falling out with 3 coaches in 5 years

Fighting with David Furner during that Sheens season was the last straw for me. Unbelievably good player in his day, even better than Api, but a strange guy.

Farah is a straight shooter and sorts out the men from the nice.
Yeah he is divisive, but I think Benji needs him to back up his no bullshit approach.

It certainly would’ve saved them a few brain cells from having to listening to a deluded old HBG simp. Let’s be honest, the coaches didn’t trust you with anything beyond putting out the cones otherwise with all that “experience”, surely you would have got an actual coaching gig somewhere.

The irony of you telling anyone to shut their trap when you knowingly spouted lies and slandered individuals throughout the HBG saga at the start of the year. You’re gutless.

Now go run to the mods to report and delete this because you rather do anything than be confronted by your own cowardice.

Its amazing how a simple correction can turn into a major drama.

Well thats what i thought initially...whats the point?

Club has since.come out and.officially announced hes off.

Some seemed.to think WTs or JL would.be announcing where hes going at a WTs presser.
Thats for his new gig to sort out

Genuine question. Is there any reason to be excited about this Mickey Nassar?
Couldn't make it at the Dogs or Roosters...
Always shown skill & speed coming through Balmain junior reps before shifting to Roosters (not sure reason but vaguely remember we prioritised others at the time).

Yes he's another short outside back but does possess speed especially off the mark & good agility and has been progressing at each club.

Is still only 19 and another year eligible for Jersey Flegg next year.

Here are some highlights:
