One shining light is Maka. His defence is improving every week. Unfortunately a 18 year old kid is being used as a battering ram. He gets no space at all and thats zapping his confidence in attack to just hit ups. We need Latu and Javon there to give him time and some space. I still believe he's the real deal, at least as good as Chris Lawrence at the same age.

I think the ref called more incorrect forward passes than Adam had regular passes in the first half.

There were some suspiciously baffling forward pass calls just as the Tigers started to look like they were coming back into the game.

Weirdly, there were some equally suspicious 'not forward pass' calls for the Bulldogs just after half time as the game was becoming more of a contest.

But I digress.

We had players who literally looked at the ball on the ground, as if they were confused as to how it got there, rather than dive on the ball. They totally lacked any kind of structure in their game & sorry I don’t care how well Benji said they trained, they looked like they haven’t even had a training session in weeks. I get that we have had injuries but guess what, so has every other team in the competition. This has to come back to the coach & coaching staff because obviously this is the standard they continue to accept or this is the limit of their coaching abilities. I am so tired of tiger fans being expected to accept mediocre, or worse, efforts & being told that it is improving & we are building on it. We are not building on anything but working towards the biggest spoon collection & waiting for the next brain explosion from the club. There are absolutely no excuses for that game & the club needs to stop expecting the fans to give them a pass.
Ok I will shut up now, I am just so tired of being disappointed although I should be used to it by now. Supporting this club is traumatic.

Totally agree your comments. Dock their pay. Change the name from Tigers to pussies

it’s nothing like tripping. That would be like saying an ankle tap is like tripping but using your hands. I could understand if you said shoulder charge but his arm is out from his body. It’s a legs tackle.

It’s pretty obvious that if you’re playing poorly in the NRL the refs aren’t giving you any sympathy. There’s a solution and it’s on us.
 
Geez, I think we will get the spoon again this years folks. Brave showing up each week we have to, but shite is in the camp and it’s all over. Benj must be sitting at training watching - he knows we are done , what’s he do. Toa and Skelton , seyfa… they are done. Fir such a big dude Skelton gets dominated so easy , there’s no steel fight or bite to him.

$700k winger . He will go in the centre avo, Latu 6/7, AD stays, Andrews will get a bench role.

It's an awkward & probably ill advised & uncontrolled tackling technique. He needs to work on that.

That said- what they are penalising him for is wrong. The runner was in an awkward position because of his own momentum.

Referee's are dumbly calling the penalty on Fainu because they can see it's unusual. But there isn't anything theoretically outside of the rules in the technique.

He doesn’t wrap his arms. At the last minute he turns away from the tackle and it turns ugly. He knew himself he stuffed up.

Placing an attacker in a dangerous position I imagine. If they don’t end up on their head, probably for a shoulder charge.

On the plus side, we looked a bit more likely in attack with him on the ball.

I won’t hear any more complaints.

I went out to the ground to support the team tonight with four children.

I was re thinking my choice after about 2 minutes. The only excitement the kids received were the hot chips. Could have left the flags at home

Close it down, sell the so-called Centre of Excellence at Concord to the other perennial lovers, Football Australia so they can waste it, Dump all the club's superstars & shift the license to the new 2nd NZ club.
 
They need to drop Laui, Jeral Skelton, turuva all three need to be dropped back to KOE cup
and Terrell mays to start from the bench.

Something has happened. They extended and now they are professionally comfortable being out of finals contention.

Bottom 2. Cant see us winning another game. enji is totally cliuless as to what to do. Just stand on the sideline and looks depressed.
