TEAM LIST Round 21 Vs Raiders

Team List
Move Luai to left centre with Andrew’s still in the Halves. Luai rarely contributes to attack and parks himself on the left anyhow. Besides he’s a good defender and our centre options are rather bleak.
I think that's a great idea, Spin it as Luai "mentoring" Javon in real time. Play Javon in his natural position as 6 on the left and Luai will be there beside him.

Yeh someone had that idea last week in the Luai thread.

I think it's the right move too.

Luai's D will help Javon too. Does Javon play on the left or right at NSW cup level?

Honestly, these conversations go nowhere. We have to face that we're back to the rearranging deck chairs on the titanic situation and resign ourselves to that fate.... and then... if they manage to get a win at some point, it's a nice surprise! They cheated us with too many wins early in the season!

Why should the guy staying be the one to be shifted?
Maybe because he cannot pass it to his support players and since he came we have scored 4 tries in 5 games .. maybe it’s that he dummies to players in space and passes it when he should hold it .. perhaps it’s that he cannot offload ever once a defender has a hand on him ? Nobody wants AD dropped , people just want him playing in the position that might improve the team overall .

BENJI CONFIRMS TIGERS ROOKIE SET FOR DEBUT —Tyson Jackson

Wests Tigers coach Benji Marshall confirmed the club has a plan to insert boom halfback Javon Andrews into the game despite Adam Doueihi being cleared at judiciary.

Andrews, who was named to start at halfback on Tuesday, is still set to make his debut despite Doueihi being included to come straight back into the team.

Marshall refusing to give away how his team will shape up, despite rumours of Doueihi potentially shifting to centre or lock.

“We’ve got some plans around young Javon,” Marshall said.

“He’s been doing some good stuff at Cup level and we like the way he plays and he’s hopeful to get an opportunity at some stage.

“We’ve got plans, we’ll just keep them to ourselves.”

Marshall changed most of his backline this week, dropping Starford Toa, Heamasi Makasini and Jerral Skelton, for Junior Tupou, Patrick Herbert and Tito Tavana.

He also indicated on Thursday that more changes could come over the remaining weeks of the season, with the club desperate for wins in their run home.

“I just make decisions week-to-week, um, based on what I think we need to win the game. Again, we’ll make a decision for this week and then we’ll decide what’s best for next week,” Marshall said.

AD to centre or lock can happen next year. for now stick Luai in the middle.
