Saw them when they opened for GNR one time. They were a fun band. Sharp Dressed Man is a classic. Only Billy left now.

Beardy had no beard!!!

Everyone remembers their 80’s gear, which was a great comeback story, coincided with a management or producer change or something, but their 70’s gear was red hot 🔥 and now when I go for some Z I more often play their older stuff.
They went with ZZ Top to make sure they were always the last band in the alphabet at the record store, and top is the opposite of bottom so ZZ Top.
