Im really off Bula, but to try and be fair, the guy is a centre being forced to play fullback, and is quiet as a mouse.Thats what he played all his life. I know people get obsessed with playing guys in positions that reflect their pay, but for me thats utter stupidity. You take pay out of it and just play your best team. Bula at right centre and Averillo fullback.

The bloke can’t tackle, no point putting him in the front line

Bula is lacking acceleration off the mark. I also dont recall seeing him break a tackle in god knows how long. He is 187cm and 93kg, so he isnt small and skinny.

I saw someone else post that Terrell runs hard but stops when he hits the defensive line. If we as fans can see it, surely the coaching staff can too? So why does nothing change?

Twal had been stopping at the line also, but maybe due to carrying injury?

He's obviously carrying an injury impacting his game. It was mentioned on the weekend by one of the commentary team. It's restricting him sufficiently that he cannot get through those gaps.

Why is Bula delaying shoulder surgery?
Fiji more important than getting it done and presenting fully fit for the start of the 2027 season???

There will be a few Tigers players who go to PNG, and I reckon Bula may be one of them.

I'm still adamant that Api will go to Perth, and the Fainu brothers may all be gone by the 2028 season.

Samuela is probably the only one of the three who has really shown promise. The brothers want to stay together, as they did at Manly, but it becomes an issue if one of them leaves.

PNG get to pick the cream of the crop. They have bigger fish to fry than our trash.

Really dissatisfied in Bula this year regardless of injuries. He just can’t break the line. As a support player in open space and chasing through bombs he is good but every other part of the fullback role be it tackle busts, ball playing, speed to create a chance etc feel like they have gone backwards this year. Even his runs returning the footy and support play is pedestrian at best.

All the talk at the start of the year was about his speed and acceleration. He shows nothing of it unless he has a wind up.

Trained with sprint coach Fabris too supposedly....maybe they just made insta vids cause i see no evidence of any increased speed in him
