May's first half, was his best effort of the year. Ran hard and straight without reversing into the defence. Maybe , wanted to show up former employer?

Hey guys thought it was best not to watch this game as I predicted something terrible to happen.

So can someone enlighten me to how on earth we won the game please. I’m not entirely sure how this was possible.

On Skelton’s second try it was interesting to see Jock cut Luai out and threw it straight to Herbert.

Whereas I saw a player run to the other side of the field to create numbers, attract defenders with his positioning, which in turn allows the opportunity for Madden to find Herbert with room to utilise the overlap created for Skelton to score.

Yeh was on purpose the defenders were drawn in on Luai

He also jammed in, hit and stuck really well in D aswell. Had his best game in our colors yesterday.

Yeah about 3 kicks our 1.2million man , with his standard missed tackle that leads to a try,,changed momentum with that horrendous forward pass

The Roosters apparently won't get the minor premiership, drop to three and will miss out on a home semi final either having to play the Panthers or the Warriors. It is a costly loss.

Luai doesn’t want any responsibility in regards to our kicking game and it’s been like that since he started playing with us, not just after signing with PNG.

That’s right and you could tell they were definitely trying hard because of how important the 2 points was to them.
We were very physical throughout most of the 1st half and up until about 15mins to go in the 2nd half and I don’t think the Roosters handled it too well, they just expected to roll through us without much resistance.
Hopefully that is a real eye opener for sone of our players and fans who doubt we have the forwards strength to compete with the better teams.
It shows they can do it when not being complacent.
I think it re-emphasises we need sone real pressure for NRL positions to keep some of our players focused.
I think it also shows the benefit to our team in having big bodied, physical wingers to assist in the yardage battle.

Anytime we roll the Roosters it's a great day. That field goal was steel, but Jock should not kick conversions again. We would have won that by 7, not 1.

Luai's mistakes led to two tries.

Once we're free from him, things should tighten up too.

Liked what Benji said in his presser, proud of the team and on the field 4 or 5 players are on train and trial contracts,
So true compared to rorters full of origin or international players

The 4/5 players that you refer to Benji - they are getting PAID aren't they !
