OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

Maybe, however, that's not as I understand it.

There are over 20 communist state run companies operating in PNG that have put it in a debt trap, and ASIO is worried. These no interest loans have happened throughout Southeast Asia, Africa and the South Pacific.

The last three governments failed to recognise this, and now we're scrambling.

I think it's more complicated than that.

We are building and establishing a safe living environment for players in what is essentially a compound, and we're helping to build their grassroots systems.

However, that coin does not include the tax free incentives that players get.

This also does not include the $800m that we provide to PNG every year, nor the cut that they will get from TV deals.

They're on a pretty good wicket.

So basically Albo gave a Chinese-backed nation, PNG, $600m to fend off the CCP, which is already running the joint. Why do I think we have been hit with China's Belt and have fumbled the ball in the middle of the Road?

Whether or not it's linked to PNG directly is not the question. It at the very least can be considered at less than arms length because if there wasn't going to be a PNG team in 2028 for Luai to play at, Pepsi PNG would not be engaging him for his services. This TPA exists because he will play for an NRL franchise.
Every TPA exists because the individual plays for an NRL franchise

I used to like Coke as a youngster but converted to Pepsi Max. Cheaper to buy in a 30 pack than Coke.
Your taste buds hate you at the moment Tonza.
At least we’re talking about the important things now in this thread
