That's true man, but it doesn't mean all the cream of the crop flees for the club they follow either.

It just seems odd we end up with all the smaller prospects lately it hints that we lost the powerful and fast somewhere along the way either talent identification at decision time was crap or they were poached really early.
 
Broncos are getting torched by the media. Poor old Madge wins a GF then the wheels fall off. Same happened with Kevie. They are such a toxic club with toxic fans that throw their toys out of the cot. How a club can throw an A grace tantrum when something doesn’t go perfectly their way is hilarious.

They have no idea what suffering is for a club and fan base like us. I have zero sympathy for the broncos and their fans. However it does paint a picture on how the media love to jump at any opportunity they can for clicks. They live and thrive of hysteria.

The boys from the Wests Tigers Faithful podcast done a really good episode last night highlighting we have had our share of highly rated juniors come through over the past 5 or so years, but some have not lived up to their potential be it the fault of the player, our club, or maybe a little bit of both.
We have failed to correctly identify the potential in a few players that we have not rated highly enough and let slip through our hands.
On the flip side we do have a sprinkling of players who were not household names or stars at ages 17,18,19,20 but we have stuck by them and a few of them have paid off.
The boys correctly identified that someone with x-factor, but not necessarily anywhere near the full package at ages 17,18,19, 20 can often knuckle down and overtake the players that are superior to them in these ages, but do not have any real x-factor about them.
Two players I will be very interested in their development is Archie Duncombe and Blake Van Drie as neither have what I would call x-factor, but both are extremely willing, all action, high energy players with very good rugby league IQ. The boys last night identified that the way these 2 boys in particular demonstrate such a high willingness and work ethic, the way they play so square and intelligence with their before the line passing game, it is in fact x-factor despite neither of them being overly big, powerful or fast.
I have long likened Archie Duncombe to Josh King at Melbourne Storm. Some may think that is a bit underwhelming, but when you consider Josh King has been a regular playing big minutes each and every week for Melbourne Storm for the past 5 or so years, it shows the value and importance a highly successful coach such as Craig Bellamy places on this type of player.

They have a bunch of blokes who think they are bigger than the club aka Reece Walsh

Broncos need a commission of inquiry into how they lost Payne Hass. He was the glue that bound the playing roster together.
 
The players underperformed for Siebold, Kev, and now Maguire. The natural talent is off the charts but there has to be questions asked about the professionalism of the playing group - they are nothing like the Broncos of old.
Couldn't give a rats about a club that has riches we could only dream about but the players look they are in control up there.

They were right
- The only reason the Broncs are doubling down and sticking with Madge.
Broncos just lost their 5/6 time best and fairest player... And god knows who else is on the outer.

Everyone rating Madge for winning a comp on the back of a lightning run by Reece Walsh and in a Squad with 5/6 Origin Players, Forgetting Walters got them within 10 minutes of doing it a couple years prior.

I like Madge, Am a fan of his work ethic ad old school toughness...
But he can't change, won't change and the modern day player just can't wear him.
