The good news is Penrith still hold the record for not being in the semi finals.

18 TIMES, So we still have time to avoid having this record.

That was achieved back in the days when only 4 or 5 teams made the finals.
Our blokes achieved 15 years during the far easier top 8 days.

Madge is likely safe in his role following their review. Madge gave AD his first contract at the Rabbits as a teenager before reuniting at the Tigers. Don’t think Madge will have complete confidence in Ben Hunt or Jonah Pezet as halfback & even Mam at 5/8.

Volkman would be a great pick up

Imo Benji already has a Latu & Javon combo as his long term plan with Madden, Averillo & Schuster in the background. Depending on Doeuihi’s future, we may need more depth in the halves but given Volkman, Latu & Schuster are all Tartak/Crown clients, I’d don’t think Tartak wpuld stack one club with 3 of his halves clients.

I hope Royce stays - he was great for us, pre injury. I'd like to see Sukkar stay (expect he will) and would even think Bunty and Skelton would be good for our depth however spots are limited.

Luai also showed enough pace to score that length of the field try that he was subsequently robbed of. I sort of understand some fan's raw emotions since his signing with PNG after our great start to the season and pay packet issues, though many still allow it to overly cloud their match day judgement of him.

I will be surprised if he doesn't substantially lift Parramatta next year.

10 or 12 teams in the NRL back then,
Made it a bit easier to make top 5 when there was not 16 or 17 teams.
