Stats don't show when a players doesnt react how they need to which then contributes to an overlap outwide. Madden's decision making defensively is surprisingly poor. He holds the inside way too much and plants his feet. Once the ball moves past him its too late for him to react and release out. He does this often and causes many overlaps. Its usually the backrower doing it too, so not just Jock. M maybe with KPP it would improve.

I was gunna say it would be a reaction to his inside man as well...but i clearly picture what yiur saying in my mind seen it often

It just gets worse. IMO Benjis obsession over old average players to strengthen our squad is a terrible move. We just spent 2 years developing Sukkar, and now he is showing that he is decent depth,we sign a "never was" in his 30's. Roberts had no pre season and got experience this year. He will be much improved. Broaderlow looks a talent. Godinet a year older. Signing someone like Gosiewski is a wasted top 30 spot.

i agree, i have watched Lachlan Brodelow in state cup this year and have been impressed with him, he is showing improvement which is a good sign. Will be interested to see how he goes in the trials next season.

I would check if Tommy Talau is interested in a positional change to edge 2nd row with us
He has a bit of size and good physicality, but is simply too slow to nail down a starting position in the backs at an NRL club.
If he wants to be a regular NRL player, there is a potential path by him changing position to edge 2nd row which if successful would make his utility value off the bench very valuable.
As he is not a currently a regular NRL player, it’s unlikely any NRL club would pay him more than approximately 200k for 2027, so he could be within our price range.
I think someone like him would be a much better option than a journeyman already into his 30’s such as Jack Gosiewski.

We can’t coach our current players in their natural position , what hopemhave we got turning a winger into a Backrower , zero chance , same as Latu playing hooker and lock it didn’t work , we can’t change players we need to buy quality in position of need

Personally think he’s overrated T. $850k for his output isn’t great. Plus close mates w Luai so never a chance

They know if we start bad next year Benji will be on the chopping block and they can have a better shot at becoming coach

If the club is genuine, then the only coach id give the N.R.L gig to is the N.R.L.W coach. He turned them around. Id then elevate any coach who led their teams to finals internally.
