100% it does. I've experienced it first hand. You can guarantee the loud minority of fans that do not like Campbelltown are original Balmain fans.

But does HBG = Campbelltown? I don't think it does and so your assumption is mistaken. Don't blur the facts. HBG have presided over a shitshow for the longest time. This is not about a bird or a cat, it's about capable governance, accountability and integrity.

Sounds like HBG doesn't have any shareholders which sounds quite weird to me, so even if HBG was to sell, I have no idea who keeps the money.

One thing that befuddles me is, who benefits from WT doing good? You follow the money and it literally sounds like no one is benefitting from WT. No one has any incentive to put more money into it.

It's like a piece of land that holds value, but you can't build on it, borrow off it, sell it or use it. You can just tell your friends you own it so that you look good..

More than likely and proceeds may go into some form of state govt trust. As a not for profit. Great question though id be very curious where the money would go. In saying that there is absolutly no incentive for HBG to care if we succeed apart from keeping the critisism of them at bay. We are just a toy to them they can use whenever it suits them.

We need to focus all our energy on getting HBG to do the right thing. Some debenture holders agree, and we almost had change if that coup hadn't happened. We need to get L&G and/or NRL to apply pressure - it's the only way forward

Its just that the current ownership structure makes it difficult to create systemic change and without that a revolving door of players and coaches can't solve the underlying problems..

As you and I already know Holman Barnes group (owing to 90% ownership) have the power to blow up the Wests Tigers board at will if it suits their agenda which has already happened..

As an as much neutral non supporter I have put my thoughts forward in terms of; I dont think that pressure from the authorities (L&G or the NRL) is going to achieve the desired result. Both of these parties only have an impetus to intervene in limited circumstances. L&G work off compliance breaches and the NRL wont intervene unless the boardroom warring is damaging the NRL's brand
