Sorry mate just finished watching Panthers v Roosters on tv.

In my opinion fullback Banjo Walker was dangerous every time he had the ball. Trey Brown controlled the game pretty well at hooker and kicked well. The PNG guys always run hard and tackle hard but some of them have hands like feet. V

Personally, I hope not, he is okay and certainly not anything special, he's small (lacks stength) and struggles with defence and gets tackled too easily. I haven't seen him do too much even in this Panthers team, he was dropped mid year, and he wouldn't be that cheap.

We have enough halves already, let them fight it out and hopefully we find a good combination.

Spend the money eslewhere if we have any

Did you watch hom today? He was very physical and strong with every carry. He had a very good game under immense pressure.

I don’t know if it would work or be a realistic option, what I do know it our attack is suffering as a result of having props with very minimal speed off the mark and very minimal attacking threat playing as our 13 for 80 minutes each game.
Obviously Benji agrees this is an issue as he was wanting to play Doueihi at 13 and he gave Heath Mason some time there at the back end of the season.

If you possibly learnt anything from last 4 games ( well any game ) is how important defence is
And you want to stick someone whose defence isn't acceptable at lock
I'll stick to my initial argument with you on this subject ....you think attack is more important than defence
And again I'll ask the same questions you ignored last time
Rate Doueihi as a lock against the 16 other locks in the NRL
And secondly rate his defence against the other 16 locks in the NRL
When you accept he is the worst option in both categories....maybe ...just maybe you might accept why it is such a dumb idea

Could he play four in for defence? Maybe at a pinch?

At one of the 17 others clubs next season....yeah sure
We have tried him at every position bar wing know the back line over many years and his defence sucks
He has openly defied the coach .....allegedly defied another coach for the exact same reason
His attack revolves around 20 carries a game where he runs across field and cramps the backline ....or cuts back inside when he should be spreading the ball
Cut him loose .....for everyone's sake

We still trying to work out where to play the ‘superstar’ no one else wants?

Why not, only been 7 seasons now.

Have that argument with Benji not me, he wanted to play Doueihi at 13.
I have not dismissed the possibility Doueihi could combine well with Latu in the halves in 2027, even though I also have high hopes on the progression of Javon Andrews and i am also confident Jock Madden can get the job done at 7 when required IF he has the right calibre of players around him.
You won’t be winning games with a team full of slow off the mark plodders with very minimal attacking ability either, that’s for sure and certain.

Your the one who wants Doueihi at 13 and you continue to ignore my question about rating Doueihi as a 13

You don’t like the bloke, we get it.
Regardless of your opinion, he has won us numerous games over the past 2 seasons and is by far our biggest run threat.
Defence is a mindset and can be worked on, very hard to work on players breaking tackles and making line breaks if they do not have the ability to do it.

Well for starters you rate him defensively with the other 13s
He comes last ......then most people totally disregard the idea
But your solely basing this on attack
Forwards most important job is making their tackles
Can't you see that .....dumb question Happy ....you can't

How could anyone like a bloke who refused to play with his teammates because he was asked to move him to a position that YOU want him to play full time now
Doueihi has been at NRL level for 7 seasons at least .....he isn't going to improve his defence to a dramatic enough level to play 13 ...or centre .....or the halves
