NRL finals footy discussion 2026

It's not just us that gets smashed by a sequence of outrageously poor decisions. The warriors were very poor tonight. I thought CHT was absolutely woeful. TMM not much better. Egan also was very poor.

But they should have had several opportunities to win the match the were wrongfully taken away. The fact that all 3 major calls somehow went against then is beyond belief given the evidence. How can the bunker get so many calls so horribly wrong, all benefiting the same team? 🤔 It's statistically impossible, yet it happens so frequently.

When it happens to us prior just say we're crap anyway so so cares but the point stands there are underlying motives at play. There is no other explanation that can explain the regularity of incomprehensible decisions.

The game wasn’t ruined. The better team won. The more deserving team on the day won.
You can not rely on referee decisions and piggybacks to win the game for you.
People are crying over those 3 calls. For mine only the dropped ball called a strip was iffy. The other two were correct.
True, the more deserving team won and I’m happy that they did, but in such a close game those crucial calls all going against the Warriors while in good field position robbed them of legitimate chances to at least even the score.

We agree to disagree on the interpretations of those calls, but from what I saw on the screen all 3 rulings were incorrect, especially the escort or disruptor or whatever it’s called from Frizell, which in every other game gets pulled up and penalised. Like I said I’m glad Newcastle won, I just would’ve preferred it was in more fairer circumstances.

When you have a ref that has a $400k gambling debt...who is clearly a.problem gambler...refuse to give a penalty at.full.time that many are questioning saying wrong call, that benefits a $3.00+ outsider ...its not a good look.
Well done NRL

They weree robbed

Klein is a gambling degenerate and can't be trusted
The refereeing for both sides was poor

People complaining about the Frizzell decision need to go back to an incident where Dom Young was trying to compete for a bomb from behind Tuapiki because 2 Warriors were in front of Tuapiki

Put a failed politician in charge of an area where you need accuracy honesty and integrity you should not be shocked when decisions constantly lack consistency. My only surprise is that sometimes you get a correct decision.

Holbrook should be coach of the year however they will give it to Webster
Don't know why they would give it to Webster ahead of Holbrook, a coach who has taken them from the spoon to contenders, while the Wahs have had 2 home finals and have shit the bed at the most crucial end of the season.

Wah, 😢 Wah, 😢, Wah 😢
