Wests Tigers star Jarome Luai starts Parramatta Eels journey with secret training sessions

Just weeks after Wests Tigers’ end-of-year awards, Jarome Luai has already been spotted training with Parramatta ahead of officially joining the club on November 1.

Luai has been training alongside Mitchell Moses and Junior Paulo at the Eels’ Centre of Excellence in Kellyville.

The high-profile playmaker has been working alongside fellow World Cup hopefuls at Parramatta’s high-performance facility less than three weeks after playing his final match for the Wests Tigers.

Eels officials declined to speak on the record about Luai being inside the facility because he is not officially contracted to Parramatta until November 1.

However, club officials confirmed the 29-year-old trained both last week and again on Monday alongside approximately 20 Parramatta players, including Moses and Paulo, who are continuing preparations ahead of the upcoming Rugby League World Cup.
