Yeah it seems like the dogs stockpile all great young talent which is great for the grades but leads to players getting disgruntled if not given opportunities promised

I don't want new owners per se, but geez, the current setup has provided little to no solution over the last decade and a half.

Worse still, a form of wand, being an independent board operating with an experienced accomplished CEO was finally put in place after fans had demanded change, but they stuffed that up on us too.

What I’m saying is, whether the club gets new owners or the current t owners remain, we still need to get our playing roster right before success will follow.
We are currently not very far off having an extremely good playing roster, but our depth still needs improvement and we need a couple of elite players to emerge or be recruited.
At the moment t Benji has the power to get this right and if he doesn’t get it right I’m blaming him well ahead of his assistant coaches, his bosses or whoever appointed him.

So you can't point out that things aren't working because you don't have a solution?

If a brain surgeon performs 20 surgeries with high recovery rates and kills 20 patients I don't need to be a brain surgeon to say that he's probably doing a bad job.

That’s actually a very good analogy.
I’m just of the opinion that if you are critical about anything you should have some idea about a detailed solution.

Advocating for new owners is a solution. It is just based on the caveat that HBG would be willing to sell.

Most solutions would have such caveats/roadblocks.

I mean you could say the same about Arthur laundry at the dogs who said he wanted to help the tigers. Dogs fans seem to love him tho as he’s very generous with his funding

Having private ownership can no doubt be a positive IF it is the right private owners.
Has anyone come with a proposal about what they can offer and do make a significant improvement in a short space of time?
I’m sure it would get a lot of traction and support if they did.

The Storm and Broncos get "special" support from the NRL.
The Warriors have been rubbish for nearly all their history and still haven't won a comp. despite having a whole nation as their market.
That just leave Souths where it works on it's merits.

Not be logical to allow our team to succeed, very annoying.
We have 5-10 people who regularly suggest potential signings and at times make some very good suggestions.
We have 5-10 people who regularly provide updates on signing news which is very informative.
We have 5-10 people who regularly watch and provide informative updates and/or match reviews for our lower grades and pathways.
We have 5-10 people who are very good and very smart with their analysis of games and individual player performance.
Those who do not fall into those categories just come on here to whinge and whine and be critical of those who actually have an opinion or post sonething informative.

Sorry to break the news to you, but this is a forum where all wests tigers fans are entitled to their opinion.

Im quite open to being challenged on my position re: HBG, but no one can articulate the benefits of any decisions they make. Their own CEO couldnt even front up after re-instating part of the board and explain his backflip to the fans he claimed they cared so much for.

I'm just pointing out that some of you are in for a mighty disappointment when that change happens and nothing magically changes on the field.
