WT seemed to have plugged the leaks on their side. like take the assistant coach search, the only candidates we know about are Shane Flanagan and Mick Crawley, both of whom are closely connected to the media.

the Averillo news dropped when it was a done deal, Brailey came out of nowhere, Friz was reported by a tier two journo (Issa) that managed to do a brilliant job to call it that early.

Doueihigate was leaked via Isaac and WT tried to wrestle control back via Nicolussi, whereas the Luai stuff really only broke ground when he was spotted at the airport and then when we killed his contract it was when it was completely done.

point is, whatever Richo did to plug the leaks in early 2024 has remained in place. the issue is when agents get involved.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t take it as read until it’s official ,,,we have been burned plenty of times before with guys being “over the line” and then not coming

Nah, I gave it up after sg ball which was 20 odd years ago. Also had a crack at coaching, but had too many other distractions in life to apply myself.

That's why I like the thought of developing Makasini into a winger. His raw physical attributes alone makes him a great candidate

I explained that. Colours are challenging for trademark registration and Richmond and us have been using Tigers for decades before trademarks existed

Its more than that..theres no potential for conflation/confusion/duplication/leveraging off each other
Thats why I think NRL will win

Yeah I agree. Dont like the style so much but he makes some good points and hes usually willing to actually engage, argue for and explain his point of view.

I've found myself agreeing him sometimes, and disagreeing with him sometimes. Thats the point of a forum
