LIVE GAME *SPOILERS* Round 2 vs Raiders

Live Game Discussion
Very inexperienced spine, Api aside.
Very poor move naming Sullivan over Aidan.

Ciraldo persisted with dud Haze Perham last year where it was clear he was no good... hopefully Benji isn't the type of coach to persist with poor players in important positions.
He picked Galvin based on performance when plenty argued he wasn't ready for FG. Fans always think they know better especially after the fact.
No coach is going to select a team that every fan agrees with - plenty here backed giving Sullivan a crack and I bet most thought Sezer was on the bench to replace Galvin when instead he replaced Sullivan. Benji can only work with what he has got and let's face it - its limited.

Galvin stood up today, imo
Proved the coach right.
Well done to him.

Sullivan though... wow.
I hope he has more to his game than what he has shown.

Hopefully Sezar to 7 next week.

I was shocked Caesar didn't start at 7 two young half's to start

But to be honest new halfs again must be hard to build combinations I hope he picks and sticks for 4/5 weeks just to build something

I am happy with the game better luck next time the effort was there

You could expect players relaxing if it were a conversion attempt?
Watch the Redeem Team doco on Netflix.
It's about the American basketball olympic team post 2008.

The team sucked and kept losing.
Took 4 years of culture building and a certain GOAT (Kobe) to get them to a successful state.

I think it relates to our team... a massive lack of culture and team dynamic, despite what they tell us.

Hoping Luai can be our Kobe and this year, Benji does everything that needs to be done to bring the team together and puts them on the right path.

He doesn’t. There is no magic potion that’s going to turn him into a better footballer than he was today or at the Dragons. We have to accept we have invested in a lemon.

POSITIVES:
Galvin & Finau played well
Api never stopped
We won the game for 4 minutes - just need to get better over the other 76.

NEGATIVES
Some dodgy late 6 again calls.
I thought the Levi try was off a forward pass. The touchy was behind the play and the ref was biased anyway so we had no hope. The Winger was in front of the centre and caught the ball in front of himself so how was that not forward?
Spud spoiled the attack and his kicking game had me pining for Brooks. In fact after than blind side try I was also pining for Nofo and Wakeham that's how bad Staines and Spud were!

Did you watch the game last night?

Whilst I don't disagree with you, he definitely isn't a dominant half at the Panthers but has shown he can be... (shown at Samoa and at times when Cleary was injured)

He is going to have to be, at the Tigers.

It won’t matter who your halves are if the backs are standing still and never hit holes. Its frustrating to watch.

Madge went out and tried to recruit Seb Kris and Jamayne Isaako.
Richo said we nee to upgrade the backs.

It's been a problem for years and everyone knows it.

They need to go to market and improve it.

I agree we need better but surely these guys practice this over and over again. It’s not good enough and has been going on way to long.
