Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

pending what happens with Reynolds (still unsure whether our interest is truly legitimate), there's some excellent halves on the market that we should be looking at to come in and be a backup half.

Sean O'Sullivan should be top of that list.

Regarding questionable refereeing decisions, well what's OK for every other team just isn't OK for Wests Tigers players.
I still believe there is a clandestine push to get rid of this club, led by NewsCorp but aided and abetted by the NRL & with other media outlets & certain player managers all joining in the pile on.

I wonder if we will hear Anneslys defense (ie: excuses) on this one?

Let’s see how it pans out at Belmore after SOO

Story 1
Stephen Crichton and others at Belmore wants the “honest truth” from Galvin about his leaving the Tigers

Story 2
Gus Gould holds players meetings to stop Bulldogs season from spiralling

Story 3
Luai called into Blues team

I’d like to be a fly on the wall at the Blues camp when Luai and those Bulldog Blues sit around after training having a few lemonades and Crichton asks Jerome about his version of events and compares Galvin’s side of it.

I know right, what's even worse is they speak Galvin up better than Katoa. Galvin isn't even in the same universe as Katoa that kid is amazingly good. Katoa has all the skills and the football I.q of a guy watching everyone play league while he's on the field playing 4d chess. He's amazing, yet if you listen to the commentators it's all about Galvin. Wonder how many of the talking heads are managed by Moses and if he's got them talking him up.
Dolphins and Raiders would be.more than happy having Katoa and Strange out of the limelight and flying under the radar somewhat.

Sydney centric media working Galvout over big time

Completely agree, all the media love fest for Galvin fitting into the Dogs system will crap itself. Luai will provide the truth to the Bulldog Blues.

Sullivan also said it felt like home @ the Rabbits, so hopefully he stays there.
Question is whether Bennett feels the same way to want to extend him
Then..who is gonna pick up the difference between the $550k were contracted to paying him and what Souths are prepared to pay sitting clearly in the box seat for his services according to the player
My guess is Bud is gonna take a big haircut..and we will get stung a bit too

Anyone shedding tears over missing out on Tyrone ? A lot of people were pumping his tyres for a while , but I suspect his supporters here will move on very quickly …

Next!
Probably makes retaining Doueihi more important as a back-up half option that offers versatility.

Starting to look like Sullivan is the KOE #7 at this stage.

Keeping AD is a poor option imho,i have both criticized and defended him in the past but he is not a first grade player if we are serious about improving on the premiership ladder.Kicking 75% is not good enough to keep him

I mean, it would be nice, but it's not like these guys don't talk to each other outside of origin camp...

Not only would keeping Doueihi for depth a good decision, it'd likely come cheap.

If there's not much first grade interest for us around, which I doubt there would be, Doueihi in position 20 - 30 in a roster is excellent. With an average top 30 contract being nearly 400k, having him on anything from 250-350, on a season by season basis, provided he's happy to do so, is a no-brainer in my eyes.

To have Adam Doueihi as no 3/4 on halves depth, no 4/5 on centre depth, etc, on a small-medium contract in the back end of your Top 30 is good business.

We need an upgrade from Adam at left centre, it may be May, it may not be May, but I'd rather keep Adam in the squad than the likes of Tumeth, Matamua, Feledy, Faataape, Saukuru, et al.

I can envisage Doueihi being in demand.

Richardson says that the club has 'plenty of spots' in the Top 30 and on the Development List for next year, but says they're going to be very cautious and patient with who they bring in, because they want to build an elite roster.

I can see them sitting on their hands on a lot of spots until the post season to see what happens, especially after what happened with Terrell.
