We always think the next time will be different.
I actually think each situation is unique and not necessarily dependent on what others have done ..

The Bears are gonna go hard for Preston.Or we could just sign a Preston. Like the dogs did.
He was a lower grader with great potential when they signed him. We don't sign nearly enough players from other clubs juniors
Sukkar runs the ball a lot stronger than Seyfarth, it’s Sukkar’s defence, particularly his goal line defence which is currently a long way behind someone like Seyfarth and is the concern in playing him for long minutes.I feel more safe with Sukkar out there than Seyfarth. He does need to work on his class with the ball but that’s with experience, hes still developing.
Read he had a big game in Reggie’s last weekend, maybe the pennys dropped. He’s certainly got the bulk we need.To do what ? 2 runs and 15mins of game time. No thanks.

It just impacts us more as we are a worse club losing a good player is way worsejust like sualiii, israel folau, bateman at the raiders then us… lol we aren’t the only victims to his BS.
It also goes if Benji doesn’t like you you’re doneThat's the dogs culture. Help us with immediate success or we'll force you out the door immediately.
Suits mercenaries but there's zero security for players signing there. If Gus doesn't like you you're done
I remember there was a rumour on here awhile ago Luke and kit were off to the storm, maybe that’s why kit is out of favourMy guess would be we were looking at Voltano to replace Luke ? Guessing he’s leaving
oh that would make senseI remember there was a rumour on here awhile ago Luke and kit were off to the storm, maybe that’s why kit is out of favour
That’s the kiss of death for a coach !!It also goes if Benji doesn’t like you you’re done
Fact or rumour PAC ?Israel Leota to RU.
I don't think they have any intention to leave. They are very family oriented & loyal family. Kit is not ready for NRL so is now being developed a lot better. Luke is held in high regard hence why at 18/19yo he is in 1st grade.I remember there was a rumour on here awhile ago Luke and kit were off to the storm, maybe that’s why kit is out of favour
I agree. Whilst we may have looked at him in the off-season, I think the progress of Sukkar and signing of KPP plus having Saukuru, Godinet, Duncombe, Mitch Taotua, Broederlow, Laupepa in our pathways, I don't think we'll look at just a solid prospect. However a player with tackle-breaking ability like Simi Sisagi or phenomen Kayliss Fatialofa would definitely be worth consideration.Because he's not a modern back rower. He doesn't provide any strike, just work ethic.
We have a heap of workers but no one who can break the line, or score if they do make half a break.
I'd take him on a train and trial and he can earn a spot from there.
Saukuru is miles ahead of him in my view and we should be extending him for another year now.
Yeah the mutual option for Bula is we've definitely got him for 2027 if we pay him $900k but if we don't take that up, he is free to explore the market with a guaranteed $800k contract on the table from us. From a previous media report, we have to advise him by May 2026 if we take up the $900k option for 2027.I think I’ve read Bula is free to leave us at the end of 2026 UNLESS we increase his contract to a minimum of 900k per season in which it would automatically extend him for an additional 2 years.
Votano is not yet ready for NRL have a look at his NSW Cup stats.
I believe this is the case. When Tartak requested permission in writing from the club to negotiate on a loan deal with the Knights, and Richo provided written agreement to negotiate with any club for a future contract, it wasn’t an accident. Richo is not stupid. They were happy to let him leave imo.So according to Danny noodle hair Wielder, Tallyn would’ve been open to staying if we had set out a succession plan for him about taking over from api in minutes from in the later years of Api’s new contract.
Take it with a grain of salt bc the club doesn’t like DW, but if we didn’t do that for Tallyn it may of been that we genuinely didn’t want to keep him. Maybe the club didn’t have the big wraps on him that we all thought and that’s why we just let him go?
Won the Balmain SG Ball player of the year award this season. Is now playing in the U19 Penrith district comp for Cambridge Park (a bit of halves too). Still eligible for SG Ball next year so hopefully remains at Balmain.BWG - What has happened to Van Drie?
He was a standout in the early games I watched. Not big, but fast and a goer!
I reckon if he's close with Api & Tito (Fiji national team connection), there is a good chance they will be in Benji's ear & Tui's ear about coming here.We can buy K for a year at least at $400… Benji is all about the short term anyway
